Syambian^3 is a new OS,so can i know where can we download those apps for this OS ? it seems like the ovi store in nokia doesnt contains a lot of apps.

Nokia USA started shipping for pre-orders that were made in August. If you order now you will probably get you phone in November. I want purple, will have to settle for orange.

N8 processor is same as one in n97... moreFor me N8 is head and shoulders above iPhone not only in camera but also in responsiveness, ease of use, features and most importantly freedom not to be locked into iDouche ecosystem.

They sell based on their name and not performance of their products. But it does not mean they are as good as iphone, BB, or Galaxy. Nokia is waiting to hit the number and announce it.

i wonder n8 has so many interests here without any physical sale of the unit after 10days of release or preorder.
galaxy s and iph4 hav passed 5millions. Iphone 4 sold 1.7 million on first three preorder days

Yo wheez, I hope you were not offended by my last post a few days ago when I said I don't know how you guys found the time to be on here so often when I know you have a gf. I meant no offence and I'm actually glad your on here so often to answer our questions until we all get our own N8's (mine is coming on Friday).
Its just that you never answered my question when I asked that if the fact that your flash was turned off in your browser settings had anything to do with the pop up's on this page not working on your N8 (when you hover over the 'in reply to' bit) as my gf's blackberry 9700 def shows the pop up's and was released in 2009 and is quite a basic phone in terms of features so I would assume the N8 should be able to it also. I know you have looked into this before but just wanted to check if your 'no flash' choice had anything to do with it.

AMANITA, 10 Oct 2010Man,plz no iphone here ! Itz N8 page,I am sick of it ! Try to understand if u can !We talk about iPhone since everyone here try to compare N8 to iPhone 4 which is so stupid. They are not in same level. N8 should be compare with phones like made by LG.

[deleted post]You are 100% Correct. The Camera has a edge over iphone but I am not even sure Nokia N8 include HDR or not. But it does suck in all other aspects. Specially watching on youtube seeing how BAD getting on browser, is slow and lagging. overall it is very poor performance for Company like Nokia waiting so long introduce a phone such like this. N8 should never be compare with iPhone. It is not in same level.
I had Samsung Galaxy S beside a great screen everything else suck too. The HTC desire was better. As far as Android go waiting for Motorola Milestone 2. But right now enjoy my iPhone 4 and Blackberry 9800. Fantastic phone. Nokia wished had 50% of what BB or Apple had.
