Don't forge... moreSo what without a minimum requirement of battery life and signal catching issues? ur knowledge in nokia is confined to 5800(worst phone i have ever seen) so kindly dont talk about n8 without using it..
[deleted post]saturation can be changed easily by software but sharpness of the photo is hardware related and u can't change!!
Shafik, 09 Oct 2010Can anybody say N8 supports video call in 3G network?Yes, it does,
Xtc, 09 Oct 2010Another mr.sheep know it all. I know what iphone4 is coz i have it,and stop pretending that yo... moreI have no issue whatsoever in uk. Signal issue is joke. If ppl hav problem, there is something called 14days return policy in uk and apple has been bankrupted from returns. Most of my mates who got iph4 nvr complain anything too
Anonymous, 09 Oct 2010don't forget processor used in n8 is half price of that used in iph4 and galaxy S. Don't forge... moreDon't forget the billions Nokia has used in research and development for the iPhone to exist in the first place.
Personally I'll rather have an AMOLED screen any day before the iPhones display. For the sole reason of having a screensaver clock and not having to have the whole screen shut down when idle.
Wheez, 09 Oct 2010Personally I like Symbian^3 better than N900s Maemo.s^3? I prefer s^1 to maemo! Lol. I know maemo is tough and all but whats the use of all that potential when you have nothing to do with it?
Sagar, 09 Oct 2010Exactly Wheez thats what i mean... it differs in Ram, camera and some other features but i don... moredon't forget processor used in n8 is half price of that used in iph4 and galaxy S. Don't forget screen used in n8 is 1/3 price of iph4 and 1/2 price of galaxyS.
And finally don't forget apple spent 200 million b4 2007 to come up with Ios
[deleted post]u come to india we,ll buy u also!!!!
Shafik, 09 Oct 2010Can anybody say N8 supports video call in 3G network?Yes it supports video calling. Any phone with front(secondary) camera supports video calling.
Anonymous, 09 Oct 2010nokia n8 http://images.intomobile.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/nokia-n8-outdoor-full-auto-3... moreAnother mr.sheep know it all. I know what iphone4 is coz i have it,and stop pretending that you don't face any issues with it. Or maybe you don't have the phone?
AMANITA, 09 Oct 2010Meego is just awesome but meego phone ll nt ve specs like N8 ;)Well, now don't compare N8 (symbian device) with the upcoming N9 (Meego device). They are totally different beasts. While N8 is a monster of a cameraphone, the N9 will (supposedly & hopefully!) push all the boundaries of mobile technology. It'll not have N8 quality optics for sure, but the OS itself makes all the difference in the world. If you've ever used N900, you'll know what I mean.
Can anybody say N8 supports video call in 3G network?
Wheez, 09 Oct 2010The only Nokia phone that should be compared to iPhone 4 is pretty much the N8. As for 5800... moreExactly Wheez thats what i mean... it differs in Ram, camera and some other features but i dont think thats worth that much difference in price tag.
[deleted post]What are you talking about kid? Nokia is the only company that thinks about the customers. While all the other companies just thinks about making some profit, that is why Nokia the world´s biggest phone company.
[deleted post]The only Nokia phone that should be compared to iPhone 4 is pretty much the N8.
As for 5800 being the worst experience ever. I believe you, didn't own one luckily, but used one and the difference between that and the N8 is planets wide. X6 is abit closer to that experience cos it has a capacitive touch screen, it helps loads already, but Symbian^3 is so many miles ahead of any previous Symbian that you can't make any judgements of the N8 from earlier Symbians. If you do, you're an idiot. OK maybe visual judgement you can make, as it hasnt changed that much on the outside.
Does larger sensor mean sharper images? Look at the leaves of the tree. Which one produce sharper image?
For all n8,nokia and symbian hater's this phone is killer! If you don't believe me,just try to swallow it and you'll be history tomorrow. And please leave us,and go bark on your own forums.
Nokia N8 launching on 12th October in INDIA at mumbai:
[deleted post]Agreed, but see, it's all about balance. In the end, I'm pretty sure most people are happier with the extended battery life over the few millsecond faster transitions :)
Which reminds me, like 20 hours of standby, 2-3 hours of music playback on speaker, at least one hour worth of web browsing (havnt used it much cos i've been home pretty much all day) and the battery is still at 90%+ :)
