@cindy You must understand, Nokia has lots of orders for this phone ! Keep in mind, the N8 is the most wanted gadget of 2010. Even Nokia is surprised at the huge demand. Shortly production will ramp up and I am sure you'll get yours too :-)

hey guys in india n8 is coming on 12th oct and availabilty in different states may vary for 1 or 2 dayz. the mrp price is 26259rs but i preorder mine on 25000rs so guys do bargain on mrp as even on 25000rs dealer must be havin a margin of minimum 500rs.

This is total bs! Ship the stupid phone nokia! What is the hold up? I'm tired of hearing it's a world wide release and it just takes time. Nokia needs to throw it in overdrive and work some overtime. You would have thought the new CEO would have taken care of all this nonsense.

You: ah ok but the site says this week.. Thats very milseading you shoud change it for the end of Oct.. Alot of people is asking thats why...

@johan Now that the N8 is so good in taking pics do you think the 'point and shoot' cameras will eventually die out? I mean to say, it did not winn by just a bit and that Sony camera is not that cheap either. Ok, Sony is not what it used to be but still - the N8 is a cell phone for FSK !

Yeah, I saw that test. Well done Nokia N8. I was sure the Sony point and shoot will winn hands down. That reminds me of another similar shootout a few years ago. That time it was the N95 who unexpectedly won against the SE K850 camera cell. We all know now, the N95 went on to be one of Nokia's best sellers :-)

i ordered the n8 last month but still havn't get anything in my mail yet. every time i call nokia they always tell me to wait. how the hell they show and lie to the public and they can't sell to the public. that's sucks because i ahve to wait for along time to get the phone. i think nokia they should sent all of the phone out right the way not next month or next year.

Please stop comparing wave with n8.they are not the same class.Wave has 512 ram memory,1 ghz and best screen ever made.n8 has 680mhz,256 ram memory,poor resolution...nokia will always be two steps behind htc,i-phone,samsung...I,m so sorry for them because they can not create better phone then n8.

WOW, people go see the photo shootout blind test GSM Arena did ! Is absolutely unbelivable ! ! ! FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HUMAN HISTORY A CELLPHONE BEAT A DEDICATED 'POINT AND SHOOT' CAMERA ! ! ! I am not even into cell phones. I am a photographer. I just stumbled upon this site after reading the headline in our photo forum. Sience is a wonderfull thing. Things advance very fast. We are living in very exciting times. This N8 cell phone will go down in history. Probably I will end up getting one too.
