[deleted post]Nokia is taking Mr Murtazin to court, because he is a criminal and not a blogger, even validated by russian lawyers:

No wonder he is trying to make a Samsung product look better, they pay him.

Today I was in the library reading a book and I took over 50 pictures with 12 mpix, it took me around 4 hours or so. The whole time the battery stayed at 100% and then I went to get some food and walked home, as I was almost on my front door (15 mins back or so still showed 100%) it said 81%. But I cant recall seeing anything bigger than 81% (apart from 100%, naturally). It's sort of a shame, but you get used to it.

It seems that the battery indicator indicates a full charge until the battery is half drained, then the battery indicator drops quickly. It's as though the Nokia battery indicators are on a logarithmic scale.
As a comparison, I also have a BlackBerry. The BB's battery indicator seems to be on more of a linear scale. I charge the BB once a week and the battery indicator seems to go down by the same amount each day.
[deleted post]All Nokia haters need to wake up too and see this:

[deleted post]Funny how every other comparison shows N8 as shit and every one as superior to most.
The ones that show shit are the sites that have always been against Nokia for whatever reasons. The author of that article is the reason we were waiting the N8 for so long after it was announced, cos eldars preview forced nokia to announce it. It's same with all these sites, Gizmodo, Engadget, Mobile-review..

Some more interesting news on Nokia N8 competitors. I seems that Apple actually stole their Coverflow and now have to pay 200 Million dollars. Ouch.
Meanwhile, Nokia's media wall uses different technology and is not the same strictly speaking, leaving them out of this.
It is going to fun to see. :)

I’ve been following your informative posts for quite a while now and I really appreciate your patience and efforts!
Can you please verify whether the N8 has a native SIP client (stack) built-in? If it supports VoIP natively you should be able to modify settings under “Settings” and then “admin. Settings” (well at least that was the way it was down with previous Nokia phones that supported VoIP).
Thanks and best regards,
Marvin

The China made is made by NOKIABuy " Made in Finland " or " Made in China ". If the handset says " Made By Nokia " there are higher chances of the unit made by 3rd party factory under license of Nokia. However, the N8 still has amongst the best battery life of all smartphones out there at the moment, even when it has a 1200mAh battery compared to the 1500 of most others.
