[deleted post]You do know that movies are 24 fps and that PAL standard HD is 25 fps? Only NTSC video standard (used mainly in Americas) uses 30 fps (or 29,97).

Come on guys dont blame nokia for using symbian. Its not necessary what OS the mobile is running. But the features, reliability, durability and value for money is important. Nokia is damn stong and can withstand the accidental drops. Nokia u r simply great.

Meego currently supports netbooks, car infotainment centres and the new home multi media centres just released not too long ago. They have the ability currently so it will come. Nokia dont need SE and Samsung cos their new ventures would reap greater rewards. You want to know more, then do some reading. Nokia are clever. They just needed someone new to take them quickly forward at the helm.

Really? Did you listen to yourself? The additions in the N8 currently outclasses most phones including the 5800.

The N8 is clearly better than the 5800. The improvements are evident not only in the os improvements but also in the new hardware too that the 5800 clearly lacks. 5800 is a good phone though.

Wheez, 02 Oct 2010A good thing to notice about the 25 FPS video recording. Around here it's the standard in TVs ... moreHuman eyes can hardly see the difference between 25fps and 30fps movie
NTSC, PAL TV broadcast always use 24-25fps and nobody complains that it should have higher fps
I think 25 or 30 fps in cellphone video recording is not quite important, whats important is the image/frame quality that the sensor captured

Many, including me, value the added functionality and especially performance and camera to make the N8 worth the money.
Just cos it's not worth the money for you, doesn't mean it's not worth it for anyone :)
