Ehsan, 20 Mar 2013my mass memory shows- capacity 14.5 GB. how can I recover the bad sector or get back to capaci... more:). Have you ever seen a storage device to have the same amount of space as it's advertised? I didn't. The problem is that all this devices have this space but 10% (more or less) is not available for the user (this space will be used for the firmware and format and some other things)... So, your space does not have any problem, any bug or any bad sector. This is all what you can get from a 16gb of memory...:)

Keep your power button for more the 8 seconds and see if it vibrates. If not, just keep it pressed 8 seconds while plugging the charger. If it still doesn't show nothing, let the charger for 10 minutes plugged. If still doesn't start... you maybe need a another battery.

nokia listen carefuly.. Bring it back into action revive the symbian days.. Wat n excitement it used to b wen u guys were launching new products,the n82 n70 my fav n73..n then the e 71.. Amazing products .. This stupid lumias are taking the company bak.. Common launch a flagship like n8 again with a 4inch screen... Millions of people r gonna b thankful to u there plenty of nokia symbian loyals.... well abt nokia n8,as i said i wish the screen was 4inches n the battery was removable.. Still i love my nokia n 8, its a bful product so simple to use all the functions are cool n easy,12mp monster is a great piece of engineering... Cmon rock once again nokia...

satisfied is the word that comes to mind.. Wow n8ers we all have chosen the rite thing..bcz the job of all these phones n accesories nowadays is to make lige simple n easy nt tuf,irritated,frustrated...which these android suckers do..symbian gets the job done easily n calmly.. Great software great phn,useful,pocketable,clickable ha ha ha n lovable.... Updated to belle refresh simply n easily... Love my dark grey nokia n8

I am using n8 now and downloading warchess 3d when payment failed.then the BUY option changed into DOWNLOAD without my prepaid load depleted..i repeated the same procedure to download need for speed shift with the cost of the game more than my prepaid load. And voila! It is downloading. Nokia store must have a glitch or bug! So make sure u receive a n0tification that the payment failed and check the buy option changed..goodluck! I am going to get all the HD games. How greedy i am!

but i have grumble to its OS
the symbian is really out of date and have no any
most use software to install it u cant play mpeg1 video on it u cant use many device in usb otg due to symbian
limitation it is just tease me

After 2 1/2 years still happy. Even battery performance (appr. 40% lower than initially) still satisfactory. No reason for me to change! Stunning hardware, rock solid. Strengths: Connectivity (HDMI, USB-OTG etc.), multimedia (many video-codecs supported), GPS (very strong, works fine without network assistance), cam - unquestionable. Talk quality very good, VoIP works seamless, as well as IMAP/Exchange/ etc. - With new battery ready for the next 2 years. Thumbs up!

I had this N8 for the last two years. I love it. It keeps me comunicated almost everywhere I go, no call hungs. Also, the offline gps is the best option for me, due I need to go all around the country. The 12Mpx camera takes great photos. The connectivity is awesome.
I had an android phone, it was faster and with a bunch of more apps available, but the multitask, and the above mentioned features, took me back to my N8 "smart" phone.
It´s even better than the new Lumia series which can´t even increase the amount of memory. N8 Rocks! Greetings from MX.

Here are a few ways to make the N8 an even more awesome phone in my opinion. First of all though, I love this phone and will use it till it quits on me which I hope is never. The build quality rocks!
O.k., I was able to get 200mb of free space on C drive by upgrading to the XEON belle refresh firmware from n8fanclub. Just do a search for XEON. My N8 is definitely more snappy and responsive. They have a step by step guide on how to do that. Pretty simple really.
A few add-ons the I totally recommend:
1. Camera Pro QT. Awesome program that makes N8 camera even better. Better than the default.
2. Access apps. You can swipe from the right to access your favorite apps.
3. Belle extra Buttons. More customization to suit your needs.
4. TTpod for music. I LOVE this music player. Works really great and has lots of skins to choose from. I love that it has visualizations too.
To keep it short, these are just a few things that make my N8 even better. Thought I would share.

N8 and all symbiand 3 devices as well as their successors like 701 and 808 are felt like brand new phones right now because they are running Belle.
It will rock for several years to come and they will stand against the test of time. No problemo, Enjoy your Belle.
