can somebody help me my battery discharge fast don't know why...when it was full charge it last only for 24 hours i even buy new battery but it's still the same...thnx...

One month after purchasing my n8 the screen started giving problems of blanking off and required a slight tap onto the screen to come back on.it progressed to heavier taps on the screen to allow it to come on.very disappointed.

Everything that support's Symbian Belle and Anna will be supported by your device no matter what custom firmware you install. Just be careful your custom firmware to be based on the same firmware version as the one installed in your device or a higher version...

Nokia n8 is the best phone i ever had..the camera is very good in a clear 12 megapixel carl zeis..hd video recording and a crystal clear speaker is just too good for me..its not that bad that nokia n8 has low ram because symbian dont need a ram thats to big..it can run smoothly with small amount of ram..ilove this phone but i hate how they killed symbian..i hope they will go back to symbian and forget about those wp..i really my n8 more than my icrap..

So, as long as the software version (111.040.1511 = Symbian belle refresh)of the custom firmware is the same as your software v. you can install it without worrying about that (all s^3 will be supported)... But there is a newer custom version out now called: delight v6.0. Hey every one
I have heard about Xeon S^4
I have seen its videos it runs awesome on the N8
But I have a small query would it support S^3 applications and games as Xeon is S^4.
That is all
By the way my nokia N8 is rocking phone its super awesome device the touch of its aluminium body feels so good Battery back up is awesome
My N8 gets charged just within 1 hours and 15 Minutes
Camera is super awesome and Muzik is too good.
HDMI port and USB on the go is the killer feature of the phone I really thanx Nokia for creating such a awesome device and I am still waiting for the further updates and upgrades for the N8
And Yes this device is Android Killer phone I have compared this phone with my cousins Shitty Android phone and it and the results were even not near to the Results of N8........!!!!

Have you ever seen a storage device to have the same amount of space as it's advertised? I didn't. The problem is that all this devices have this space but 10% (more or less) is not available for the user (this space will be used for the firmware and format and some other things)... So, your space does not have any problem, any bug or any bad sector. This is all what you can get from a 16gb of memory...:)
