I am an American and currently looking to buy the n8 and I just want to say that I'm tired of hearing racism on this forum like Americans are sheep, Americans use icrap, Americans don't know crap. What is all that about? I came on this forum to learn more about the N8 and not hear peoples ignorance of the human character and lack of respect for one another. Yes I am an American but I am not judging anyone of you or your products so I would appreciate if we could get the same courtesy. Thank you

Anonymous, 28 Sep 2010CAN YOU GUYS JUST STOP ABOUT THE USB OTG FEATURE!!! I had this future on my mp3 player sinc... moreG0sh! The OTG cable is like 6cm l0ng! What harm could it do?? And aniway I plan on using it daily for transfering files via mass st0rage between ph0nes without the use of bluetooth which wastes time! I think the OTG function is the 3rd best thng on the N8.

If you buy any apple products you'll hav to subscribe to other apple services like itunes app store etc which will suck your bank balance and their products are too pricy with less features...that is why i'm a big ihater!

Come people... give Nokia N8 10-10-10 before anti N8 drops it down... you can see some far east intruders are working hard to get their products up and N8 even E7 down...

Wheez, 28 Sep 2010Apart from the few nasty remarks against other phones, thats pretty much my feelings :DCheers mate... see my history with the phones is like this starting from used ones --> (early days) Nokia 3110, Ericsson 388, 688... new ones --> Nokia 5110, 6110, Ericsson T28 world, Nokia 8110, 3210, 3310, 6310i, 6670i, N82, E52 and waiting for N8... Does anyone know any notable handset from any company at the time of 6670i or N82? I think most of the people will just be thinking about iphone (the first version) but comparing the phone features, can not even be compared with nokia 6310i... similar example is that when Nokia launched N series, boeing launched their new aircraft that could fly at certain nauticals with this this feature... ok does that make call... yes it makes calls with the credit card swipe... understood??@#$$^%$%#$@??? :)

I do not blame nokia or apple, you are an adult, take resposiblity for your actions. I have 2 phones a Samsung and a Nokia, When the N8 come out I will relace the Nokia with the N8 and still have 2 phones.
NOKIA ALREADY ANNOUCED THE DATE. 2 WEEKS WAIT TOPS. you would think that with that information you could keep out of signing a contract clearly you could not.
If you are not happy with your purchase then thats down to you.
Waiting thats all. if you do something that amuses me then i will laugh. you came online and announced to the world your contract signing addiction.

I don't know why the people are so worried about the delay... All of my friends have contracts here in Canada and we could get the icrap4 easily, but since we are using the phones when cell phones were like satellite phones these days so we know what is what and who is who... who is pioneer and who is toy maker... who is inventor and who is selling the products with lots of accessories... if we know they are gonna get the best, then the wait is just worth it... Nokia Nokia Nokia... apple was just dying few years ago but just revived 'cause of their ipods and then sheeps started following the lines and they tightened their sticking-to-my-own-product-loyal?-so-they-will-pay-for-that policy... Nokia always rocks... N8 Rocks... igay4 sucks...

Megapixels do not tell much. That is barely half the reason (if even that) why the N8s camera is so good.
You can just put a 12mpix camera phone, but it will not be equal to the N8. Why? Unless it has as big/bigger sensor and real quality optics such as Carl Zeiss and not just some random bubble gum bulk optics, it will not be as good.

[deleted post]Better google for 21MP camera phone... China has already bypassed Korea on that... there are also many gadgets that China has developed and has beaten Korea but we are talking about technology my friend... the pioneers and inverters can not be replaced by copy makers and toy sellers....
