I'll still rather have this feature than not.

CAN YOU GUYS JUST STOP ABOUT THE USB OTG FEATURE!!!

I had this future on my mp3 player since 2005 and I can GUARANTEE you that you will never use this feature ever. I have never ever used this feature not once on my mp3 player and back then we didnt even had sd cards with insane storage space. So it was basically a nice combo to use with a camera but in reality it was NOT.

It is too awkward to keep carrying a separate cable AND a harddrive or thumb drive with you all the time and it is a pain to keep plugging the cable in and out. All these items creates more bulk and wastes more time. It is NOT as easy as for example hotswapping a micro-sd card.

This feature seems great on paper. But I bet my whole life on it that you will never use this feature at all as it is a pain in the ass in real life. So stop! Just stop about it.

Example of one set of the new icons:

For comparison to original/old, in which you can also see the "iPhone"-style of app placement, those icons are all on the homescreen in case someone would prefer that:

Nuwan, 28 Sep 2010Dear Dwane, Regarding your points on N8 is better than C6-01 I have no objections because a... more"Removable battery (Very crucial... Because no matter what we think Symbian 3 will be solid... I don't think we'll never face hanging problem where we'll need battery removal in order to restart the phone..)"

again, the power button in symbian^3 devices(or N8 atleast), is hardcoded, it will restart your phone not matter how hanged it gets, you just hold power button for 5-8 seconds.....

it works just like your pc, no matter how frozen you pc is, holding shutdown button for 8 seconds will turn it off

The N8 in the flagshipstore in finland got a facelift. New theme, new icons. I didnt exactly like the color theme of that theme, but the icons sure looked good. And btw, 3rd party sites are not official announcements

i had initially heard abt it thru a nokia employee way back in january. Then rumors became reality somewhere between march or april. and still the fone isn't released. Throughout i have been desperately waiting for its release going thru every info i cud get on the fone thru any reliable source. However my patience is wearing thin now.
As much as i love this fone and as much i hate the large screen on the desire hd, i am compelled by nokia to make a choice. Therefore i have come to a conclusion that i will buy whichever is released first.
