This phone seems INCREDIBLE. I haven't found a single bad thing about this phone so far... And come on, how on earth did they manage to integrate such a great camera in a mobile phone??

ui is no... moreI don't think that the N8 will directly even compete with the iPhone.
They are so very different kind of phones in the end, that I don't think they necessarily fight for the same crowd. Anyone who needs/wants the features of the N8 would probably look somewhere totally else than the iPhone, like some Samsungs or HTCs maybe. Anyone who wants a trendy phone that is all smooth and cool most likely wouldn't consider N8 (apart from teh outer design and materials, but the UI probably wont cut it for these people).
Both are great devices for what they are meant to do and neither has to kill each other, if you ask me.

smart people wont need install many apps in their symbian phone, they just need the vlc player coreplayer, divx player, google earth and flickr, banking apps, shopping app
hope nokia can look at the top 100 iphone games, and work with the games developers to bring themto symbian 3 using qt sdk
if they listen to this advice, nokia is perfect

C6-01 surely will be the successor of 5800xm, with its elegant look, better processor RAM and OS, and the cheap price (very very competitive one) i'm pretty sure there're millions of people will love it !!

Yeah, same with you, i prefer... moreAlthough only has 2 colour options, the N8 shipped in Indonesia got Ovi Music Unlimited. Pretty darn nice uh, for such rich features smartphone the price is highly competitive i think.

Nokia C6-01 does not differ much from N8. They share basically 80% of the same features. The only advantages of N8 over C6-01 are the camera, HDMI and built-in mass memory. But apart from those, everything else is the same with N8. Btw, C6-01 has better display and larger phone memory than N8. And it is cheaper by around 200 euros than N8. So C6-01 will definitely be the most successful of all Symbian^3 devices.

OMG!!! I just went to a a nokia stall in one of Abu Dhabi's Mall on UAE and they have this N8 already. the counter person gave me the experience to navigate the phone and it was unbelievable. the screen is so clear, very innovative in design, the shots was so good, very easy to navigate, and honestly it was superb in using 3g and wifi access. Further, the price is really affordable for only 2200AED. I really can't wait to have this phone this coming month.

I'm starting to w... moreI happened to stumble on some HTC phones page here yesterday and I found that he was posting there, although he was still comparing it to the N8 and had not really made the decision yet himself either.
Don't worry Dwane, it's probably not a myth, I mean, if it was, what would they do with all those pile of phones they have just few hundred meters from me ;)
