"Nokia answer team: With the Nokia N8, you can move large files conveniently with USB on-the-go to memory stick or compatible hard drive and further to PC, ready to upload into video sharing web services.
If the hard drive needs more than 200mAh power, it needs to have an external power supply."
AMANITA, 12 Sep 2010Nothing is impossible if u try ! But for now,symbian^3 is good enough for me :pyes u r right Nothing is impossible :).

n8 is obvious bettr than a galaxy o wave....
samsung is useless....neither they have ovi music
Yeah you are correct n8 it has 12MP with xenon flash but ¡°no videolights¡± The LCD is amoled but my question is not brghter than samsung jet, omnia, pixon is contains also AMOLED. anyone explain what kind of nokia LCD Amoled use? Nokia Amoled is not expected brghter than samsung jet, pixon, ominia is amoled but is very brghter and clear resolution. i think nokia still using low quality amoled resolution to n8. so i recommend to wait e7 or n9 superamoled,snapdragon,1ghz processor, meego. the great important in multmedia phone is brighter resolution, high processor.
chester, 12 Sep 2010is it possible to port meego into n8?Nothing is impossible if u try ! But for now,symbian^3 is good enough for me :p

symbian 3 ui is not total change of symbian 1ui,this is the biggest dissapointment, other than this, everything is perfect
just the ui not the symbian 3 performance!
Ithought nokia took more than one year to come upwith this phone since n97mini, they should have a totalnew ui
husi, 12 Sep 2010lol, too much confusion but I think you're right, but also I haven't seen even any prototype n... moreI will choose N8 out of this 3 ! Only N8 has 12mp and xenon ! E7 n N9 has a led/dual led and may b 8mp ! N8 is a multimedia monster and I want to taste symbian^3 before goin for meego thus N8 is perfect 4 me ;)
on the symbian3 side, nokia improve the symbian 1 problem and add new features likemultitple homepages
but they didinot change the ui, all the symbian essential apps looks the same!
DO U KNOW sai ganesh is going to buy N8 in month of october, he have one doubt that " is the mobile is portable to college". kindly help him. so sad of him.../...................
AMANITA, 12 Sep 2010E7/ symbian^3 phone-
http://m.youtube.com/watch?gl=US&warned=True&client=mv-google&am... morelol, too much confusion but I think you're right, but also I haven't seen even any prototype nokia device running MeeGo in any video..
I just hope they officially announce both E7 and N9 (if there's any) before the launch of N8 so that we don't make any wrong decisions choosing the right one! ;)
According to GSMonline.pl, this is the “final version of Symbian^3″ for the Nokia N8. Is that as in final firmware? It’s dated (At least on the phone) to only be 10th September. If that’s correct and this N8 has the latest firmware then this should be the commercial firmware that we’ll be getting (and then some regional variations).
Thus, no excuse for any delays, bugs, whatsoever having waited so long for this handset?
Usual N8 hands on demo
YouTube can play flash or via the N8′s own media player – like all Symbian handsets.
Need for Speed Shift – click HD to watch the 720p recording of this video to at least better appreciate the N8′s widescreen gaming. NFS looks very fluid.. btw, NFS got exited via menu button, not crashing. Though I’m wondering what portion got cut. Crash? Delay? Personal info from call on the screen? Who knows. There seems to be subtle cuts in a few places. Perhaps to tidy the video up? I’d rather see all the hold ups if possible future video folk. Just blur if there are sensitive info.
Maps is opening up pretty quick, (and it wasn’t already open). GPS lock was subsequently a couple of seconds after viewing the map. Pretty good for those moments you just want to check “where am i?” and then the subsequent navigation.
Other apps do open up quicker (by symbian standards), though it would help IMMENSELY, if there were more animations to distract you from the loading.
Screen Rotation takes awfully long – BUT – recording phones on a flat surface – it’s difficult to get the angle to rotate the phone (whilst still being in the view finder). Happened many a times with me on the N900 and we’ve seen that it’s ridiculously fast at rotating from landscape to portrait and vice versa (when available).
Loading sites over 3G (Poland) seems sufficiently quick, especially with heavy flash. It’s worth noting though that the N8 will get a much improved (hopefully anyway) browser soon after launch.
grend, 10 Sep 2010hi all but i have a question what to choose between the n8 and samsung wave and the galaxy ???... moreThey have diferent OS. N8 with Symbian, Wave with Bada, and Galaxy with Android. But i think, if you want to get the greatest multimedia phone, you should choose N8.
