Even more Nokia N8:

I will tell you guys one thing from the rest things, this phone is the X6 in new housing cowers and with smaller battery pack, but the same overclocked CPU, with new theme and add few front screens, and if you bay it, you will not get much more than one N97mini or X6, it will be shopped videos and OS, and i don't see much change from from S60v5 at all, as a prove for wot i em telling to you, check out this video, how this N8 is operating is bad!!!
this phone is what nokia n97 should be!
Price should not be that high.
This Nokia N8 is a midrange phone being sold as a high priced device. For $50 more, you can get a 16GB iPhone 4 with a faster CPU, better screen, better video recorder, and endless amount of apps. I used to hate Apple and iPhone, but realized it really is superior in many things and Apple continues to support the iPhone 3G from 2008 with their recent updates. Nokia doesn't give a damn after a year and are not great at making software. I want to see Nokia succeed as much as anyone, but this phone isn't "it." N8 is a pitstop to something far better next year. Nobody really sets their camera settings to 12MP. 5MP or below is fine for most pix. Nothing special with this phone for the price and the software and UI doesn't look like it improved. Plenty of buyer's remorse and no real long-term resell value. This is the N82 put into a touchscreen form factor. Nothing game changing or revolutionary...
this phone is not cheap, too expensive for developing countries where nokia do business well
give me e72 successor with gpu and larger screen better camera,
give me meego phone as well
If this phone was released for $400 (U.S.) dollars, it would be worth it. But it's only great feature is the camera and nothing else. Slower processor than most flagship phones now and on a dying OS. Just another rip-off from Nokia before they stop caring to software upgrade it after a year. This is the successor to the N82 which I loved, but in a better case and touchscreen. But $549 is overpriced for this technology. I expect the price to drop to $350 after a year just like the N82. This phone will have alot of buyer's remorse just like the N97. Just wait for the N9 or any future Meego phones. This phone doesn't really wow. No optical zoom, slower CPU, only 16GB, and no LED flash to video record at night.
I NEED YOUR HONEST OPINION.
I have been holding off for this handset for 5 months and I ended up losing the plot with NOKIA delaying its constantly and got myself Samsung Galaxy S.
So far so good with Galaxy apart from no camera flash or flash for internet but should be fixed with 2.2 Froyo.
My question is I know N8 comes with 12megapixel camera so it will blow my Galaxy away fro photos but I am major impressed with galaxy S HD video recording quality so the question is
DO YOU THINK N8 HD VIDEO RECORDING WILL BE BETTER THAN GALAXY S
i was planing to buy Nokia 5800 , but when i first see Nokia N8 i told myself that i must wait for it.
because i will sure buy Nokia N8 in the future.
adam, 12 Sep 2010only 680MHz CPU (brain of the phone) most phones these days have 1GHz Are you for real?
Probably less than 5% or even 1% of the phones on the market come with a 1GHz CPU. And the CPU in the N8 is actually 7XX MHz but it's been underclocked. Also, its GPU is like one of the 2 most powerful (cell phone) GPUs on the market.
i have had a play around with the new nokia and its has to be one of the most new age phones around i would assume strong competition against the samsung galaxy s and anything apple throw at them. it does take abit to get used to but...
Guyz don't u think that HTC HD2 or Sony Ericcson Xperia X10 looks much more elegant than N8? Though I'll buy N8... :)
And can anybody tell me about its price plz?It would be great if anybody can tell expected prize in Bangladesh?
You guys can go ahead and argue all you want, the fact remains that the N8 will be the most successful smart phone for a long time to come. Its a near perfect blend of form, features and function. No phone in existence comes close.
16 top-notch (OK, 15 and a fun fact) reasons why the Nokia N8 is pushing buttons most other companies don’t even know exist.

Wheez, 12 Sep 2010How is the Galaxy S better than the N8 in "functions"?Do not Buy Galaxy S. Android is great but Galaxy S has alot of problem from being slow, freezing or reseting all the time. If u like Android then buy HTC Desire.
I no forget do not buy the outdated Nokia N8 too.
adam, 12 Sep 2010only 680MHz CPU (brain of the phone) most phones these days have 1GHz It's only 680Mhz, yes, but the N8 has a dedicated GPU that does alot in running the OS, so in reality the N8 matches 1ghz Androids easily, or even beats em in every day use.
