Press Compare Processors and... moresorry i dont mean to sound an idiot..
you know you say the overclock/underclock proccessor speeds.. what do mean by that??
[deleted post]Dude, please don't try to use several nicks so you could spam your baseless arguments more.
I can still see it's the same "gizmo" who was posting some crap earlier.
AMANITA, 10 Sep 2010Oh good btwn have u tried different colours ?I've seen all being manufactured and in my eyes the blue is by far the best looking. It's subtle in a way, unlike the orange, but still different from the basic "silver" and "black" that every phone is.
Green looks damn nice too, if you wanna avoid the basic colors, but I've understood green will only be made as the Comes With Music-phone.
They all look pretty good, even the orange, but it's just.. too "visible" for my taste :D
[deleted post]LOL you know what?. Nokia N900 is actually an internettablet. It was originally made to only that purpose. That is why it takes a bit more time to start than just a smartphone. That is also the reason why it is so good in internetsurfing. Nokia N900 is an internettablet. It is not even their first. They have an internet tablet in the n-series before this. I think it is an n810 or something. But I think you can find it from here. The brown 1 wiht the slide 1 wiht the touchchreen and keypad.
[deleted post]Well you obviously fail at reading comprehension yourself, as what I meant was not "making tablets for pockets", but that Nokia probably wants to focus on mobile phones and not tablets, thats why it wont make one.
I actually think I've heard about a Nokia tablet that would run Meego, it could be just rumors though, but tbh, I think tablets are the most useless devices out there. I can't really figure out a single reason why would I take a tablet instead of a netbook, for example.
Nokia has an awesome netbook btw, shame its so frigging expensive.
Wheez, 10 Sep 2010The problem with tablets are that they don't go into your pocket (unless you are into hip hop)... moreand yet I'm hoping for a Nokia MeeGo 10"-ish tablet very soon...
That one, together with the WeTab will finally be an iPad killer. Although in my mind, the WeTab has already crushed and pulverised the iPad even before it's launched :D
[deleted post]The problem with tablets are that they don't go into your pocket (unless you are into hip hop), and Nokia will most likely keep focusing on mobile phones, rather than tablets :P
[deleted post]Then I'm sure you can tell us what makes Symbian sucking and what makes Android so good.
Also, why does Nokia and Symbian lead normal and smartphone markets if they suck so hard?
Naturally, it's not so simple cos Nokia and Symbian have been around so long, but they arn't at that place for no reason.
Also, we both know your argument holds no intellectual value cos u dont back it up with anything and it's an opinion, not a world wide truth. I'd ask you to back your claims up, but since they are opinions, all you have against symbian is "it sucks", and you do not know why. Get out from these boards if u cant discuss in a sophisticated manner.
daemon, 10 Sep 2010wat do u thnk iz processing speed of i phone?????????n8 has dat muc speed becz it doesnt need ... moreiPhone 4s CPU is faster than that of the N8, however, the iPhone does not have a dedicated GPU to do half of the CPUs work like the N8 does. So in reality they are pretty even or probably the N8 will lead abit in "everyday processing power".

Matt, 10 Sep 2010I'm actually more leaning towards the E7 which will be announced next week... I've been missin... moreI personally don't want a qwerty in my phone, cos it sets it some more limitations. I'm really liking the N8s shape and size.
Hoping that Swype will end up working nicel for the N8 too, so that would mostly solve the problem of typing for the N8

can you tell me how to choose between iphone4,iphone 3gs and n8 nokia please .If you are looking for a real smartphone with real features, definitely the N8. The iPhone is pretty hard to even be called a smartphone cos it lacks so much compared to other new smartphones.
The menus and applications are all smooth and cool, and thats the iPhones strength. If you like lots of goofy apps and games, you might be better off with the iphone. It's very fast in what it allows you to do, the display is very good and the touch action is very precise. Apple is also a "sexy brand", meaning its more of a trendy phone.
The N8 will most likely cost quite abit less than an iPhone 4 (at least in finland) so thats already a reason to get the N8. I also find the N8 more appealing than the iPhone, but most of all, I don't care about the looks that much, but I want the superb features the N8 would give me over an iPhone.
Then again, the N8 hasnt been released yet, so it's abit hard to compare.
Mainly the decision is about what you want and need. Just go on youtube and look at N8 and iPhone 4 videos. If you are getting a smartphone for smartphone capabilities, you will most likely regret getting the iPhone, but for "what it's made", it's a real nifty device!
For comparison, I'd say the N8 is more like an adult/businessman phone, while the iPhone might be a cooler choise for a teenager, who in reality doesnt use even half of the N8s features, but wants a cool touch screen device that can make calls (at least sometimes when u dont block the antenna :D)
I'm actually more leaning towards the E7 which will be announced next week... I've been missing a qwerty for soo long

can you tell me how to choose between iphone4,iphone 3gs and n8 nokia please .very easy
do you completely understand what multitasking means? then choose the N8
Do you only have a vague idea or not a clue what multitasking means? Then choose the iphone 3GS (iphone 4 offers barely anything more but its design)
shorter version; do you know anything about technology and are you up to date on the computerlike stuff...?Then definitely go for the N8 because you will appreciate it
if not, then you will absolutely NOT understand why the N8 is better, and you are waaaay better off buying an iPhone
maria martinez , 10 Sep 2010hi can you tell me how to choose between iphone4,iphone 3gs and n8 nokia please .How to choose iPhone 4: pick up a phone and hold it left-handed. Try to make a call. If it fails, it is iPhone 4.
can you tell me how to choose between iphone4,iphone 3gs and n8 nokia please .
[deleted post]GSMArena staff are awake, already deleted :D Hope that clown gets banned.
Back to the N8 awesomeness :D
I think the N8 was really good to hold in hand, it's physically a very nicely balanced device. The aluminium cover feels really good, the camera bulge is actually nice to put your finger under/over (depending on which way you hold the phone), the weight is really nice, heavy enough to feel sturdy, light enough not to be a burden.
Also I think the screen size was a good decision, you can pretty easily reach the screen even in single handed use (common problem with touchscreen devices, I've understood). Bigger is definitely not always better.
The home button could be nicer. It sort of doesn't fit in with the aluminium awesomeness of the rest of the phone. Also might've been better to place it in the middle, cos even if I'm right handed, I always have my phone in my left pocket thus use it with left hand if I only use it quickly, although I could still use it with my left thumb too.
[deleted post]I feel really cool now that I have people pretending to be me :D
But really, gtfo.
Wheez, 10 Sep 2010Definitely. The Mhz in N8s case doesn't tell half of it. With the dedicated GPU doing hw accel... more Yeah all the videos shows that it is smooth ! No doubt !
Me too waiting for this monster ! I love everything abt N8 except that default grass theme :D
Nokia should start 'photography contest' for N8 later, may b next year !
