Nokia really started the year right.
They announced Nokia C5 which is a very good smartphone it has arm11 600 which is quite good. The price of c5 is very affordable. It has 3g and gps in one .wow.
The c3 which is the cheapest phone with wifi. really amazing qwerty keypad. It has SNS. yey.
Then the c6. It is same with n97 but still good so far.
The E5. very affordable smartphone. It is like the e72 but with no af in cam and a plastic build quality. but it is good. at the back it has a metal casing protector.
The x2 which is a music phone candybar. It has 5mp with big led flash. wow. the build quality impressed me. it has a metal casing at the back.
The the mark of the RETURN of the KING is N8!
Then Nokia introduced the range of very low-end smartphones. They even introduced their 1st dual-sim phone. More phones to come.
Then the E73 finally for america.
then the x5. yes. a 2.4 screen with a good resolution and slide out qwerty keyboard plus SNS.
then thex x3-02 and 5250.
You know Nokia started the year 2010 right.
Yes. It will support live wallpapers.
Can't you see there's the 3d Graphics HW accelerator!?
I cannot wait for this phone to come out in a month.....and just reading the predictions and the 2010 stats of smartphone OSs. Symbian being a great OS and sometimes can get a little boring, BUTT the good thins is that it's practical and solid. Nothing anything bad you can say about symbian.
im gunna be rocking the Nokia N8 in black when it comes out yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Nokia should not stick to Symbian OS or at least they should make another model with Android OS.
apple iphone still have some advantages over nokian8
the rich fart app and games app store, especially the exciting games
the apple design, elegant and simple, even the round front button looks hardly noticesable, meego phone should not have buttons in front view and no qwerty
apple ui and icons design, it is good, nokia cant do that if they want
This superphone will kill the iphone4.
But i like my nokia n900.
Price will be 450 $

Wheez, 09 Sep 2010What I wrote below might sound stupid to some, but having options is not obvious nowadays. I'd... moreI think all cellphones with multiple homescreens give you the option for using as many (in the permissible limit) or as less as you want. Don't they ? I am currently using a Wave. It too offers that. Can't say about others though.
You're lucky that you got to check out that N8 though. I am gonna go to the Nokia flagship store here tomorrow and see if they have it.
What I wrote below might sound stupid to some, but having options is not obvious nowadays. I'd claim that if iPhone had homescreens that were somewhat comparable to the N8 (im not necessarily saying it should), it most likely would not have an option to select how many of the homescreens you would like to be active. If it had max of 3 homescreens, you would most likely be forced to use all 3.
A nice "feature" I found out today when testing the device, although it's more like disabling a feature.
You don't have to have all three homescreens there. I for one can't figure out how to fill out all 3 homescreens personally. I most likely will just have two active. This way you can just fill two homescreens and if you do the finger swipe action to change the homescreen, you don't have to stumble to the extra homescreen you might not have use for. So it's sort of easier "going around".
Could someone please comment on the below features if possible when it comes to the N8?
-Battery life (On moderate use)
-Sunlight legibility
-Track ID
-Music Crop
-Live wallpapers
-Lock system
-Router
I know that some points have already been answered but it would be nice to get some reliable sources to corroborate (Thinking about the Router Function and animated wallpapers)
Thanks a lot!
I hope to upgrade to this phone from my satio. But all the nokia phones in india have a shutter sound which can't be disabled. I hope the sound is not there in the N8 as this restriction is not mandated by our laws yet impressed on us by nokia.

Cant wait to ditch my Android (Milestone) for this Symbian phone. Despite some strengths Adroid is nowhere near as mature and Nokia hardware has a good reputation going for it.
