nice gadget...to bad it's Symbian, that really sucks!!!
Nokia anounce this is the last phone from N series with Symbian(as a recognition that this OS has no future!!!)...you will wait for a much longer time for an update to fix some software bugs!

He doesnt realize that just cos its maybe the best phone for him, some of us want more than just smooth menus and shitloads of apps from our phones.
The iPhones are good devices, but it caters to people who dont actually need a smartphone, but are after a trendy and "cool" gadget.
Please understand, "the facts" that WE do not find the iphone sufficient for us, thus we will not buy one. You going on and on how u think its the best phone in the world does nothing but irritate people.

You keep talking about facts all the time but so far u've giveen us zero. Bring something that confirms your claims of even iphone being best profitwise.

Umang, 08 Sep 2010so wat do u suggest..... shld i buy this as my next fone..... bcos generally i dont change my ... moreIf you dont care about the camera upgrade and want to make best of your phone then go for Samsung Galaxy S! cuz its already out yet and Im really impressed!
Cant really suggest you n8 because its not out yet and most of the prototypes seems to lag, but newer the vidoes on youtube better the performance! So keeping my fingers crossed if it turns out to be smooth and fast I'll give edge to the n8 over Galaxy S ;)

n8 will be available in india at an initial price of rs.30000/-. So anybody expecting it to be below this will have to wait for a price drop from nokia.

husi, 08 Sep 2010did you not read the 429 pound thingy? :(I guess itz 429 pounds including all taxes ! Price will b different at diff. Countries due to diff. Tax rates and 12% (mumbai) is higher tax rate than any other place in INDIA !

thefeuchts, 08 Sep 2010According to the user manual the exterior of the phone is stainless steel. Not sure which is ... moreit's EXACTLY the same alluminium (anodized) as the Motorola V3 for example...identically the same. it's very ok in my opp
