very clever.
I’ll tell you, because obviously, you don’t know how to use resources.
First – for the great GPU Broadcom BCM2727. Made in 2007. You don’t have to worry, that you buy hardware older then first iPhone.
Second – Why do i need more RAM. To run apps in the same time and phone didn’t start lagging. To have better resolution then outdated 640 by 360, but for that you need more memory, right?
Third – the main test of speed of N8 is against… N97. This is a real benchmark. And you’re proud that N8 is 180% faster then the turtle phone?
Last but not least: You want data from me, but tell me where is proven that N8 is faster? Do you saw a video of multitasking? Smooth transitions between screens? Good maded animation in the phone OS? Give your data, to prove that N8 wouldn’t be new N97. Or as you wisely advised me “…put a sock in it.”

I guess the 1200 mah battery would be enough for this N8.
It has an impressive 50 hours of music play in OFFLINE USE.
It has 12.5 hours of talk for 2g while i9000 has 13 hrs.
16 gb of internal + 32 expandable WOW!

The phone looks awesome, especially aluminum casing made from one piece, new Symbian^3 OS. Although processor could be faster, at least 1.0 Ghz instead of 680 Mhz. The only thing I don't like is that you cannot replace the battery by yourself, that was really unnecessary. But over all I think that this is the phone that's gonna replace my Nokia 5530XM.

Old Symbian phones mainly use AVKON, but future (at least Meego phones) will be only using Qt. N8 will support both the old AVKON things as well as the new Qt. All the new apps and stuff will be made with Qt.
They are currently remaking the N8s browser with Qt and supposedly it should be alot better after that, it won't make it into release though, but that update will probably come sometime closer to november.

On the other hand, there's a reason why some devices are N-series and the other E-series.

FX Studio on N8, is it free? I like freebies. Hehe.
Right now i hope that a new N8 version with qwerty keyboard will be available sooner. How you do that on n8 design? Well just imagine the black boarder/panel and the screen, or for better description, the part which is gorilla glass in material, to be the only part slide-able, then the whole anodized aluminum body(including the plastic part on top and bottom) will be left on the hands while sliding, a shallow cavity with keys replacing the position of the now slid and (not necessarily) tilted screen. What do you think? Vague? Nonsense? You can ignore it, I can only imagine. It will be my dream phone by then. Not that the n8 isn't already a dream phone the way it is.
