This is my first choice. I've seen videos and i noticed some lags though. Like for example, on the task manager, the guy on the video tried to close the web application but it didn't close immediately, so he tried to tap once again but end up closing the application next to it as well, for it has replaced the position of the web application which is closed after 2-3 sec lag. I want it to perform fast once i got my hands on it. I wish nokia is already perfecting it's software during our long wait. But being a nokia user since smartphone is invented, i think i can live with waiting 1-3 sec for a task to be done, because i know fully what are the things nokia phones are capable of, it is my no. 1 basis on choosing a product. Those who complained about nokia are probably the type of user who content themselves with what the phone has to offer on its first package. The type of user who thinks their phone is only as capable as announced. Apple, samsung, htc, you name it. All of their claims are true. They perform fast. I like them all. Looking at nokia, of course it is just a simple phone, but search the net, find some monster apps and games, install beautiful themes, and your phone becomes one of a kind, and fully customised on that matter. Cracked applications is what i like the most, getting almost everything for free is an exclusive character of this OS. And with the extra features added, like USB OTG, 12mp camera, 720p videos, hdmi, GPU, one could only think of endless possibilities with this monster phone.
The only thing that bothers me is the price. I'm only willing to pay up to 22,000php. If it gets higher than that i might choose mr. SAMOLED. Talk about mind blowing user experience, seen some videos, really fast. Sometimes the part of me who is addicted to UI takes control, haha. And only 19,000php. No aluminum body and 12mp camera though. I am still confused. If only i have the money to buy both.

Hey guys stop fighting over fone,coz diff ppl have diff choices...As of now N8 has the best hardware..its the best fone till date...And no samsung or iphone can beat the N8...And ppl who r putting N8 dwn fr nthing coz fone is nt even released...y r u Ppl so insecure abt N8....chill ppl if your like the iphone or samsung go to their forums and rights things abt your fone...I own a mobile store...I sell all kinds of fones...but nothing is simple and with more features then,Nokia....simple thing like using fone as modem fr internet can't be dne with iphone or blackberry...Most ppl prefer Nokia...AND N8 is one of the best....

Just bcuz his galaxy lacks a simple flash ??? As I said earlier I dont want to know abt ur samsunga or android ! I dont own any s60v5 phn but I ve use 5800 ! the nokia n8 is the perfect mobile phone becouse the features is very good 12mpc xenon flash autofocus carl zeiss optics hd video recording wifi high r display 3.5mm jack 2g 3g java support it's all rounder mobile phone overall good

I'm not a tech expert so ya gotta help me out a bit lol
I'm possibly moving up from my trusty old unlocked 5800. Of course I've been spoiled by the 5800's excellent sound quality. It's so good, I gave my ipod to my little kid cousin.
I use my 5800 for music it at the gym. I use it while driving. I use it when my girlfriend starts nagging at me....LOL
So the sound quality of the N8 has to be good for me to consider it.
Think it can hold it's own?
....And please all you Samsung lovers, please spare me any diatribes about your beloved Samsungs and what they sound like. I DON'T CARE!
Been there....done that. Had Samsung Devices....Will never have another one!
