VERY VERY nice Spec compare to Iphone and Samsung galaxy S, but heres the deal ... its not how good are u in the inside... its wat you can do with it .. and this score goes to IPHONE .. sorrie im not a i-fan, no-fan, or sam-fan but im just saying basing on which phone make the most profit, apps, & winning peoples heart is the best phone .. that goes to IPHONE 4G ... sorrie the truth HURTS get over it .. maybe one day IPHONE will be defeated but as of now it still the Champion its still have the GOLDEN BELT (^-^)

Geniuses must be counting down the clock to launch at Nokia HQ. As the Mobile World & community braces itself for a new Mobile sensation. I have been happy too & wasn't expecting an upgrade from my 5800. This is going to be like my 5800 with steroids & modifications & hopefully fix all the issues that I had with my 5800. I hope it will sell well for Nokia's sake. Can' wait for GSMarena's review, with much anticipation. If this is indeed a good phone with the reviews in mind, I will be happy with this phone.

Fallen in love, 23 Aug 2010I just tried N8 last weekend, and I can tell you that the phone made me fall in love with it. ... moreExactly my feelings too. Had no intentions of buying the Nokia N8 or any other smartphone cos my old E65 still works fine, but when I personally got to used one, I instantly decided to get one ASAP.

If you cant wait 1 more month, then please get anything but Iphone4. Not because of any I sheep stuff or anything. Just research a bit over its dependency on iTunes and may be you will realize.

I just tried N8 last weekend, and I can tell you that the phone made me fall in love with it. The feel of the metal body, the lovely cuts in the both ends of it.. so nice, the way the cell can rest on your fingers.. you can eg keep finger beneath the cameraunit that comes out of the body a bit. And really N8 looks different than any other brands phones, especially im tired to any Samsung for example, look all the same. Symbian platform made me wonder why dont others copy the great usability and cleverness of it, I mean the homescreen, god its wise, tap the clock, date and and any other, theres all the crucial functions just there under those, a click away. Social networks, friends, news.. all in the same screen, ...I havent used symbian and nokia touch phones before, now i wonders why do i have bought lamy samsung.. Try it when it comes, it feels awesome. And because my friend works for Nokia, i know a thing or two about the coming.. Im pretty sure that meego will lead the way when it comes. Iphone will die.

Been waiting for ever it appears to be...not bothered IF a release date was set but more Pi$$ed off than ever as a date was set then delayed then moved forward and delayed again time after time! WTF!!! It shows that Nokia can't decide what they wanna do! I've been a Nokia lover from day one and starting to loose my patience with them! Not like if other manufactures are any worse off in designing phones with likes of Android etc! I've always been a Nokia fan having handsets like Carbon Arte, N series etc but now using a BB Bold 9700 and WAITING to buy a spare handset but looks like I'm turning to IPHONE 4, despite I've been BASHING IPhone with their signal problem...at the end of the day it's released!!!! With the N8 so HYPED up, it'll end up like the Iphone NOT getting one till x'mas that's IF they have released it by THEN!!! NOT a happy Nokia fan anymore!

I love the phone and will def be getting one but even me a long time nokia lover is getting pi55ed with nokia over the waiting with NO update from NOKIA to there potential customers, while samsung, htc etc lovers dont have to wait and phone's are popping out all over the place. I wouldn't mind waiting if they at least said what date to wait for. I love Nokia and this phone but dont feel loved by nokia.

I think N9 will have a 8mp cam ! Leaked pics of N9 shows led flash on itz back! I will go with N8 ! ;)

it s a meego device with 1 gb of system storage and 64 gb of internal memory and 1Ghz of snapdragon CPU and 720 p hd recording (not sure about the camera but i think it s the same as nokia n8) and at last a 4 in screen

Abhinav, 23 Aug 2010I thik hanging problem will be there with these specifications..I didn't really experience any. The Symbian^3 is pretty light, so high specs aren't really needed to run it. It also fully supports GPU acceleration, which takes ALOT of strain off the CPU. After boot there's around 128mb of RAM free (compared to like what.. 30mb the N97 had after boot, which was blamed for alot of hanging etc), which probably isn't the exact truth either cos of the paging system thingie.
Also, the Symbian^3 pretty much only shares the looks with the earlier Symbians, don't judge this product cos of the older Symbians. Just like Vista was pretty crap, Win7 is godlike.
