[deleted post]Samsung WAVE's video recording quality is totally drag down by it's sound recording.
A video failed if the sound quality is sucks regardless how good the resolution is.
N8 should definitely win in this area.
"Nobody cares for N8!"
how ? Look at the votes,more than 77,000 ! Daily interest 92% !
U dont like and nobody cares 4 U
TC, 08 Aug 2010N8 only has a better stillbild-camera while Desire with FROYO has better hd-videorecording. N8... moreWhat is the proof that Desire can shoot better video than N8? N8 have dual mic which should have better sound recording that can match it's video quality.
Didn't you read the spec of how good is the battery life of N8?
I am a symbian user. It does not crash on me thus far for more than 3 years. Plus, this is Symbian^3.
Saying Symbian is not a mature OS is purely denial.
Even if it crashes, you don't need to remove the battery. Just press and hold the power button for several seconds and it will restart.
Even if you really want to remove the battery, just unscrew it.
Why are you here if you don't like N8?
[deleted post]If no one care... or to be specific, if you don't care about N8. Why are you here?
You are right that most functions mentioned are not in Iphone. I am sorry for that cause i don't really like and care about Samsung Galaxy S at all. Thus i won't go and check it out.
But again, why are you here?
Are you threaten by N8?
Anonymous, 08 Aug 2010I think N8 battery life is good enough.
It is indeed a little sad to not have a video flash f... moreN8 only has a better stillbild-camera while Desire with FROYO has better hd-videorecording. N8 has only 256 mb ram and Nokia batteries have always been far worse than others, mobility needs great battery. Symbian is still not a mature os and crashes far to often so you need to remove battery to be able to restart, N8 can not remove battery.
N8 is all about the stillbildcamera. Nokia-fans are almost as fanatic and blind as IPhone-fans.
Nokia N8 highest 60 FPS with total 1440 only.

Samsung wave with highest and blowing n8 with 1614 !
and with my WAVE it went upto 1660 ..
Samsung Wave is the clear winner in ol acpects !! Only camera is good in n8 that only for still pics but video 720p is same in both but in reviews i like Wave's HD recording more !! god bless outdated N8..
Have fun with Bada. *shudders*
Now that I look at the N8 its an alright phone. It has n-networking and a speedy 3G connection. The only thing holding it back is its RAM and processor speed. Probably not worth $400 though.
Anonymous, 08 Aug 2010you people r not putting 1ghz processor nd then you end up having slow processing when will u learnI don't think it is slow.
Even if it is, i prefer to have a slower but all rounded smartphone than having a extremely fast but featureless boring phone.
Galaxy S, 07 Aug 2010Galaxy S is far far better than N8. N8 has no stand in front of Galaxy S. Galaxy S beats N8 in... moreYou just say something as if you never said it at all.
Can give some reason why you think that way?
As for me, Galaxy have nothing to stand out among the cloud. It is just like a faster version of Iphone 3GS.
There is no other thing that Galaxy S can do but Iphone 3GS cannot do.
N8 however have many things that Galaxy S cannot do.
N8 have better camera. 12mp vs 5mp.
N8 have xenon flash. Galaxy S have none.
N8 have dual mic for video recording. Galaxy S only have 1.
you people r not putting 1ghz processor nd then you end up having slow processing when will u learn
TC, 08 Aug 2010The problem with Nokia is their useless batteries so N8 will not be a "mobile" compu... moreI think N8 battery life is good enough.
It is indeed a little sad to not have a video flash for low light video shooting. But it has a bigger sensor and dual mic. I can live with that :)
I don't like HTC Desire because it's loudspeaker is not on par. It's LED flash also not strong enough.
Video and Camera capturing quality is.. umhhh i have to say.. its really suck.
So N8 is better. :)

So what is wrong with those people who answer them by sharing their opinion on which they think worth to buy and which are not?
As long as their posts are not breaking any rules should be fine. But preferably, stick to the topic.

Adam, 08 Aug 2010Story - Ovi Maps for Visually Impaired Users http://www.nokiausers.net/News/Story-Ovi-Maps-for... moreCan nokia guide those people lapping up iphones & galaxy s, whom it considers visually impaired, to nokia stores to buy N8 ? Well thats another STORY.
Story - Ovi Maps for Visually Impaired Users http://www.nokiausers.net/News/Story-Ovi-Maps-for-Visually-Impaired-Users.html
[deleted post]In india between rupees 25000-30000. Same price as samsung galaxy s and motorola milestone.
get over it brand-fanboys, enough is enough
let people "themselves" choose the right phone they want
you'll never degrade a product based of silly reasons like "this brand has issues", "don't buy this", "this brand software is better than that brand software"
NOKIA/SAMSUNG/IPHONE/HTC/etc.. All companies make phones with weaknesses and strengths. It's called the beauty of diversity
no need to pop-up everyday to advise us on which product to buy, the average-knowledge user already know about the specs so he/she can decide for themselves.
back to the real discussion: Nice phone but the price is a bit exaggerated in my opinion.
