How many regular smart phone users can truthfully tell an AMOLED screen from S-AMOLED? Having said that, I see no sense in comparing any Samsung phone with the N8. Compare Wave or Galaxy side by side with the N8 here on GSM Arena and you'd be quiet for good
And to everyone :-
I don't mean to offend anyone. Sorry if I do, but I find it rather childish how many people here are crowning this phone as the mighty king of kings in the cellphone world.
I too would love to check N8 out, since it looks really good. But am i eligible to say it is the best ? or even better than some of its contenders ? I don't think so. At least till the time I have seen and tested one for real.
I mean just a page back in this forum, I was asking about N97 and everyone was telling me how pathetic it was. But if anyone of you go and check the first pages of N97's forum on gsmarena, you'd surely find people very similar to the ones that post here. :)
Just a thought. No offense meant.
Gautham, 04 Aug 2010could i know the clockspeed for N8???yeah, clock moves in hours minutes and seconds, same as all
Nokia pls don't let 'Apple' over take you that easily, N8 it's really not good enough.
now samsung is really catching up !
atleast ahead of samsung !
[deleted post]Thanks but never mind.
As long as you, me and most people can understand then its OK. :)
[deleted post]Wrong place buddy.
btw, you haven't seen the real great thing. :)
Nokia PLEASE raise the video bitrate to the HIGHEST possible. If sensor and optics are great this is the most important thing left. THIS is what can make this phone stand out. 100% sure. 9Mb/s will have a lot of compression artifacts and footage will fall apart sooner and especially after Youtube re-compression. You don't have a higher end video market to protect, so if it is possible allow greater bitrates. If recording time is a priority, just allow compression options (9/18/32/64 Mbs).
fungie..?///, 04 Aug 2010 yahooow..!!! where batery slot for Nokia N8..???Battery is (normally) not user removable in N8. You have to use a T5 or T6 screwdriver to remove it. It's a design decision made by nokia to avoid problems.
Too bad they only sold 100 000 nokia n900 in 6 months :D
I had one and returned it in 6 days because I realized what an overpriced underfeatured phone it was. Nokia left it dead in the water. It won't be upgraded to MeeGo. Unless you wanna risk your warranty and flash it yourself.
aero, you should read why symbian guru site closed, just search in google.
mk it looks like you're trolling. Wave uses an aluminium housing, by the way
