me, 29 Dec 2012Exactlyyyyyyyyyy!!! I tried ARC S, GALAXY 3, for camera nothing similar to n8!me, I also look for xperia arc s, galaxy s and nokia 701. No one has camera similar to n8. I buy n8 for its exceptional camera and usb otg feature.

Take some ear sticks and clean a beat the camera glass with some window solution. Moist the stick just a bit, a tiny bit in this window clean solution, so not to put to much, to slip in. Clean until you see nothing more. and take some pics. See if there are still this circles. To open it and clean, is kind of hard. but is also a possibility. But there are some risks you take...

[deleted post]Sorry to hear that your screen is like this. You can solve the problem only by changing it. Why don't you go to Nokia to do it for you? Will be for free if it's in warranty. Also, those circles are not a hardware issue. All N8 users will come across this... and the camera glass it's to blame. i have this "problem" when i take pictures with flash to, But after i do some cleaning they go away, or move:)). Xeon flash is very powerful module. But "unfortunately", unprotected camera glass get's dirty very quick, and just a small speck of dust can cause some reflections with this flash. So that is no hardware related problem. It is just, let's say, a permanent n8 bug. Cause doesn't have camera glass protections. But i'm ok. Before all pictures with flash, i clean it and never put it in my pocket until i finish the photo-shooting:)).
And for you all! A HAPPY NEW YEAR AND A GREAT 1 January... until latter:P.

The xirxles in picturs can be solved by cleaning good the camera glass.... morethanks for the reply, I observe it might be hardware issue because taking pics without flash wont have those stupid circles but sometimes appear when xenon flashes... camera less is so clean. what annoys me most is the screen purple tint, videos on my former symbian (Nokia 5230) looks good than this shitty amoled n8

Anonymous, 26 Dec 2012hey n8, without your 12 MB camera and xenon flash you are not a smartphone compared to any app... moreusing n8 for the last two yrs...hatsoff for d 12mp cam wid xenon flash,usb on d go support..finishg and metal case are outstandg..only problem felt were sysbian platform...
