Nokia N8 - user opinions and reviews

It appears that the Nokia N8 is going the route of the N97. They will withhold it and hope to generate enough fevor to entice people to rush to buy a faulty untested piece of technology that will require tons of updates to get respectable.
The delays in releasing this product is just like the N97, now the question is, "Which fan boys/girls will go rush to buy this technology that is so unstable that the manufacturer can't seem to get it right?"

AMANITA, 27 Jul 2010Yeah N86 has a great camera ! I like N82 xenon,itz nice ! Camera results in dark are great ! N... morei have N73 and N82 but not N86.....i would buy but is not worth my money....N73 photo samples are awesome comparing to other nokia phones for example my friend nokia 6220 (Xenon) daylight means not night mode...but 6220 vs N82 N82 won in terms of clarity and sharpeness...N73 vs N82 daylight using 3.2 megapixel both are almost the same!!!! both my phones have the latest firmware and full of symbian programms...So i though to buy N8 but i am very happy about these phones!!! I havent digital camera yet due to fantastic photo samples!!! Even if nokia N73 discontinued i still love it...and ofcourse N82!

In landscape mode I find it hard to write texts.... moreYes, virtual QWERTY in landscape mode sucks especially to those having big flat thumbs. On capacitive, you have no option left but use thumb. Resistive is kinda easy as nail does a job in case there are small virtial buttons or web links.

i cant wait for its release

Bad news for nokia N8 in fans. Amazon is cancelling n8 preorders. Release of n8 is pushed back to october. Check SLASHGEAR.COM. Again nokia is making same mistake that they made with nokia N900

Ya shure, loks like great phone.
Where is the keypad? How do you input phone number when you want to ring somebody?
I heard Sony and Nokia (company will be called SoNo) will join together to manufacture mobile phone in future.

From few days I'm using x6 -16gb. In landscape mode I find it hard to write texts.... moreWith width is 59mm but not had full Qwerty (before this, I using HTC Touch Diamond, width is 51mm but had).
And using T9 (Tegec) with a capacitive touch phone. Its crazy. I will find a 3rd party apps support on screen full Qwerty!

And yes, I have'nt experienced any memory full error so far, though many people will argue x6 has 'only' 128 mb RAM.. So I guess 256 mb RAM is more than enough for me..

From few days I'm using x6 -16gb. In landscape mode I find it hard to write texts. But in portrait mode it has t9 pad, I find it very easy to use compare to full qwerty keyboard in landscape mode.. Though in you can use portrait qwerty in Opera mobile and Opera mini..

This has been the phone to have for quite some time now. Usually it is replaced with rumors of future phones but, feature-for-relevant-feature, the N8 is still the phone to beat.
