Well some delays to get out a good product are acceptable. Otherwise we might have a situation like the iphone 4 with a lot of egg on the face.

Plus together with HTC and Iphone... moreI think is indeed true that Nokia are too slow in releasing this phone...it will cost them BOMB as many people will end up throw their money for other brand...they should b more flexible when notice iphone or other brand are shooting out new model, is time for u to release this damn phone :(

Sumit Saini, 13 Jul 2010hi plz sm1 tell d difference between capacitive and resistive screen. which one is better.Depends on your use. Resistive screens are less sensitive to finger touch but good thing is you can use a phone with resistive screen using any object or while wearing gloves. (It works based on resistance produced by object to be specific). Capacitive screens are highly sensitive to finger touch and that allows manufacturers to create multi-touch phones(all capacitive are not muti-touch). On the downside you can't use it with stylus or gloves. Capacitive displays are more popular among smartphones but costs more than resistive. If you buy any cheap smartphone then they will be having resistant display.

A general statement about them can be given though, Capacitative screens are more responsive and Resistive are more accurate. However, with Nokia's new touchscreen phones, that issue on accuracy with Capacitative screens have been eliminated (at least with their latest one, the X6).

It will also ship with N8 in some countries (china confirm). Btw you can purchase SU-36 from Nokia flagship store..

I think capacitive touch screen is more sensitive. But you cannot use stylus or finger nail on it.
Resistive touch screen accept any kind of touch... finger, stylus, finger nail...etc. But not as sensitive/responsive as capacitive touch screen.
Well i think you should hear from people who are more expert in this area or go for wiki.
