thank you my friends,i just uninstall swype by doing what you told.i liked how it looks and worked but i had the feeling that the battery drain faster and the phone was not responding as it did first. I heard that anna is a little bit faster then belle,and if it is so i won`t upgrade.is that tru? I`ll be using this phone until he `dies`,and if 808 will be still for sail then i`ll buy that. Apart adobe and nfc i have averything i want? is it so hard to develop a flash player for symbian? If there are more than a 1 mil fans in the world,and i think that they are, and the app should sell only 1 or 2€ this means 1-2 mil.of € and for me is something.and if ovi will not sell it they can find another way to sell it.maybe i`m wrong but i don`t think so.

Latest and The last? For this you will need a good enough pc, nokia suite http://www.nokia.com/gb-en/support/product/n8-00/ ... then open nokia suite plug the phone into usb cable, will install some things if you never used it. wait for it to end the processes. Now go to tools software update. From there just read carefully the instructions and that's it.

2013 is at the gates and N8 can be already considered outdated. Well, despite of how good and excellent the newer phones i may buy are, i am not getting rid of my N8. I'll keep it even if i don't need it anymore. For me this is iconic. A very sweet device!

Anonymous, 10 Dec 2012Thanks. But there isn't any browser who can provide us with full adobe ?:). Sorry to tell you again but... no. Symbian will never support adobe flash player 10 or 11 latest:). At least, not now. Any browser for symbian would be a .sis and there is no .sis flash support from adobe...
Maybe Nokia will do a Christmas miracle:) and release a new megaSymbian device with flash support:)...

1. Reboot the phone
2. Immediately go into Settings -> Application Manager -> Installed Apps (better create a settings shortcut on desktop)
3. Choose to uninstall Swype
4. IGNORE the message stating you have to set Swype Input to NO in Swype Settings
5. Wait for the un-installation to complete.
6. Reboot the phone.
7. Swype will be un-installed and the default keyboard will be available.
