Yemko, 28 Nov 2012That application to use power saving mode?Hey, i see you have allot of very strange problems with your divice... I'm starting to feel like a troll is using your name. Anyway, i'll answer this time. Is MrAlshahawy's Battery Power Saver (is only 0.99 eurocent in store). I never used a battery power saving app. But this one i like cause it is putting my device in power saving mode when i don't use it, also it closes all apps i selected to be clause when the device is not used. And when used the power saving mode deactivates. Be careful if you use 3g network. It is not so useful, you will need to set it only to close opened apps when the device is not used. And to set it to put the device in power saving mode only if the battery is less then ...% so you will not ocure call drop problems. As for your problem, i don't kniw, never heard about such a thing. Did you installed Belle? By the way...

So minding this fact, if your battery came down only 5% in 8 hours, it's a improvement, right? If it's still lasting after the first charge you mentioned, then i say it IS an improvement. As for that question, i don't know. Maybe you had a faulty battery and they change it. Also, did the device came formatted and in factory state? Maybe they re-flashed the firmware to. More then this i don't think is needed. It could be some hardware mall-functioning to, but if you said that the device is not changed and you have this battery now... Your phone must be ok.

Anytime I'm using it voice recorder or video recorder, I usually get high level of river flowing like sound and bearly hear voices. why?

I noticed in an online shop in the Netherlands, the N9 (silver) only costs 199 euro. The black version about 219 euro. Never saw the N8 being so cheap (199 euro), i think it's a good deal.

I have put to charge till 100% (charge complete indication) on 26th November 2012 at 10:00 PM.
Now the time is 10:51 PM on 27th November 2012.
Battery remaining now is 63% (as shown by Nokia battery monitor).
No background applications (except BEST PROFILES software which activates the selected profile at the saved time) are running till now. Just 20 minutes voice call and 10 minutes GPRS (both not continuous) and ringtone testing for 10 minutes (each song clip one by one) at volume 7.
They told that they have not changed the handset.
If you feel that this is an improvement, which part of my mobile was faulty (before giving to the Nokia care)?. Any guess?.

Now you should get 2 to 3 days in normal usage and 1 day witj heavy usage. Also pay attention to what's running in background. Maps never close it selves and will eat a bit of your battery, a bit mor i may say. Last night i forgot to kill it's processes (use best taskman to do that) and through the night my battery came down by 6%. Normaly, in standby mode, my battery comes down with 1 to 3% maximum. Now i use an app which put's my phone in power saving mode auromaticaly if i don't use it. So after one night in standby mode, my battery is the same...

Hi All...
To have more battery life ...simple things to be noted
1)Do u use 3G data everywhere and always..If yes then ur antenna finding for best signal strength draws more power
2)If No or not often...switch 3G mode off when not in use and see....you will have max backup on battery....just use a toggle widget by defualt to switch....
I get 3 days flat battery by switching this method...even by hearing music and watching videos..meant movies...

I got my N8 back from the service on 26th Nov evening.
Now the time is 06:40 AM Indian Standard Time (GMT + 5.5 hours)
It was charged full at 10 PM Indian Standard Time.
Now the battery level is 95% remaining (after 8 hours 40 min of standby). Lets see till 24 hours.
