Think I'll wait for the inevitable N8 Mini successor to come out, and avoid the heartache of monthly warranty returns when Nokia realise they can't recylce their E series firmware to suit this phone.

x10 is far more better than the n8....juz a little more money to spend a much more better phone to have.....

Else, it is just your assumpti... moreWell, I suppose the next sample photos from the new iPhone will be taken in the low light conditions and it will look good, because there will be some landscape on it. But for everyday use xenon flash is a must, otherwise the camera fails as LED flash just isn't powerful enough to light the scene. Not to mention the wrong colors you get with LED flash most of the time. And there is another thing. Camera with xenon has mechanical shutter, which is superior to electronic shutters found on mobile phone cameras with LED flash.
Anyway, I am glad that iPhone users will finaly have a useful camera on their phone. Even if it means that they will have to use 5MP resolution that Nokia users have had on their cameraphones for three years now.

If Nokia can retain Symbian OS's efficiency for small memory and processing footprint, utilizing with its mobile hardware to the fullest without excess baggage (bloated code, memory leak), it will have a stable and speedy performance on N8.
Modern mobile OS (usually bloated) may look good, attractive flashy UI with quick respond during the initial usage. But as time passes, upgrade, installation of crap-ware and daily handling seem to degrade some of its stability. Whats more if the manufacturer decided to cramp everything into a lower specs.hardware to make it affordable to the market is just not cool. (Android is no exception)
I'm always a Symbian believer since the day of Psion but bad marketing strategy (high price, arrogant policies, governed by group of old-fashion minded punk) put them out of this world for good.
Hopefully Nokia not inherit any of those genes.

If nokia change n97 mini like model with 5mp same sensor size xenon flash with capacitive s3 minus , it is gonna sell better than n8 price it euro 270

for me N8 with:- 8mp and 8gb is enough.. who knows nokia might come with a lower spec after sometime the GREAT N8 being launch....cheers Yezza..

yaar/buddy go for n8 if it fullfil ur neeeds and go for iphone 4 if it suits u but for me n8 is the way to go and there is some thing called (value for money)n8 have it, biggest features for medium class people. im not a advisor to ask u u should self decide. info-nokia has planed there new update after about 6-8 months and they will overclock it(not really) because the clock speed is in real is arm11 750 and they deoverclock it to save battery but after update full 750mhz. so be

rep-nokia has already done with it ! We have many choice ! There r many ngage supportable phones! I had N81 for gaming ! Now u ll never know wat is Ngage cuz u have never played it :D

Wow a super juicy meego os can see in you tube. Just type 'pre alpha meego in tablets' . Its still in alpha stage but the os is so gorgeous. Cannot wait for nokia to use this os plus advance features. Nokia rulezz

Besides, I do have enough money to buy iPhone, but I just could not cope with inferior camera (compared with N8), the need to use iTunes for file transfer,lack of flash on web, no Java support, no FM radio and no free navigation with downloadable maps. Eye candy has never been my first priority, although I must admit, N8 looks just nice for my taste.

The camera in the Nokia N8 will be... morei wont ever buy iphone i wont support bad company steal other company technology. for me 3.2MP + xenon is enough. i can upload pure 3.2MP picture. but with 12MP is big size so need resize before upload.
