1 other reason N8 is the most smart phone. It have usb otg. Use phone as a host to exchange files between other usb devices. Nokia does it again, another new innovation first reason to buy n8.
The n8 has more partitions. Because of the added 256mb over the n5800 which had less memory for os & application mapping. The n8 phone will have an extra 16GB partition & I would think you'll be able to install apps to that which increases the amount of rom available over the n5800 two fold.

I agree the iPhone is even better than this, the only edge is has is the semi-useless 12mpixel camera

definitely not the best looking phone after all. 12 mp camera is just illusion, 5 and above will do the same job. the main point is if this device is fast enough, easy to use and how is battery life? I know many n900 buyers are very regretful cos of battery life. ovarall it would be so unfair to compare this device to iphone, they are definitely not in the same league!

seems excellent featured nokia phone but what about processor speed in multiple applications running will decide the worth. If performance is slow just like E72 even having near to similar processor then will fail.
waiting to buy anxiously.

this is best imaging smarthphone, but not the best smartphone... if samsung galaxy s would have n8 camera it would be best device all around... missing items are: higher res screen, 512 ram, faster cpu and last but not least, led flash among xenon for torch and video light, also at this time android would be bether too....

This Nokia computer is really great, 680 Mhz processor is suffient, because
1. It incorporates both CPU & GPU + a Symbian ^3 OS, therefore expect a very fast device.
2. Don't expect any form of lugs 4 the same reason.
3. This device cannot crash while multitasking with a 680MHz processor.
4. The 680Mhz can be increased to abt 750MHz by firmware

I just saw iphone 4, I must say, finally Apple is starting to develop a nice phone. Nokia fanboys here can attest that Nokia have the right feature phones, the best after sales service, the widest availability. BUT its always lacks APPS SUPPORT! Even n900 which was released a few months ago is still on the infantile stage. Wow... Im smelling disappointment here AGAIN. It will be horrible if nokia N8 will be the a flagship then nokia will abandon it, leaving it appless bec. of its new software and lack of developers or dedicated users that will develop games, applications etc for n8. Im a nokia fan believe me owning, n95/E90/E71/n86/N900 and i phone 3gs. I just obsereved this and i know that all nokia users knows this is a FACT. Put it this way, Apple became famous bec. of they have "apps for everything" even though their phone SUCKS at being a phone! Imagine n8, having thousand of apps and dedicated developers. Then that6 will be time nokia finally made a Good product. a second n95 to be exact. Hope this phone does not become a failure like n97... I love nokia. Thats why im saying this. Hope they hear this.

Moto's and Iphone announced their flagship phones, Iphone 4G is like a jewel too expensive in my pocket, hehe. Moto's latest cam phone 8mp running 2.1 android is delicious also, huhu, the sweet eclair. I love N8 but anyone here can assure us that the UI is smooth at least, that's the main prob of nokia's touch phones the UI, the UI, the UI. How come nokia's announced this phone 5 months ahead, that's so cruel.

Anis, 07 Jun 2010iPhone 4 is coming on 24th June, and Nokia is still pending :@ COMONNNNNNNNNNNNokia N8 will be out on the 24th of August at the earliest. I'm not sure what phone I'm going to get though, I'm not a fan of apple, but they have improved the iPhone to what I wanted(kind of. Depends which one comes cheaper in Australia for me, the iPhone will probably be over $700 in Australia. N8 would be similar.

Anonymous, 08 Jun 2010Internet Websites say N8 will be priced around 22000 inr. Considering the features - cap touch... morenot true. n900 sold 100k in 5 weeks. thats a lot, for a device that was not intended as a consumer device...
