Anonymous, 30 May 2010oh c'mooon...! Omnia HD can run over 60 task and so what? I don't care of plastic or cameras... morelol Obviously you have not been seeing a lot of videos. Pictures come up fast in the N8.

i need FAST TOUCH phone... with today trends!
I don't need wait 5 secs for opening one picture from gallery or some laggy craps from symbian or laggy internet browse or zoom...
Just like Omnia HD... laggy, laggy and laggy...
Did you see how work Galaxy S?
That is speed what i need from Nokia!

But I do agree Nokia should add more RAM.
By the way considering its price this phone is great. And what do you think A cheap plastic made ugly phone deserves more than 8.5 votes.

Niraj, 30 May 2010You more seems to be Samsung fan. I have seen the video and only the device lag when applying ... moreif the device hv 512 mb of ram maybe it deserve 9.2 rating. even if symbian^3 use small amount of ram it will not enough for multitasking and web browsing.
Symbian can do multitasking years ago but nokia did not do good testing on multitasking thats why nokia device always say low memory please close some apps.

I see Nokia haters only see the speed of processor. This phone is as fast as a normal man can do his 98% tasks without any problem.. Though this phone is not super fast but no one is going to die if this phone is not very fast.

no, you kidding me. ;)
You can't spam click 'cause GSMArena tracks down IP addresses, same goes with the votes. I don't know why it went down all of a sudden, when you can't vote 2 times in a row.
And where'd you see the lag? From the prototype vids? Or them reviews from who knows when? :p

Better if we start a petition to nokia so that they put 512 ram on N8.

Anonymous, 30 May 2010The greatest multimedia device? With no divx playback?No divx playback right out of the box to be more specific because there are hundreds of third party players native to symbian format capable of playing divx.
Other option being they can be easily converted to any compatible format using Nokias very own PC suite for its devices. Not to mention, there are lot of video converters softwarers available to do the job.

And also open your eyes. Divx player can be easily installed on this phone. Really you guys post comment but dont use your brain. Further more Nokia Pc suit also allows to contest the videos to any format.

I have seen the video and only the device lag when applying a 12mp photo as a wallpaper. First find a 12 mp photo and apply it as a wallpaper on your current phone and then see how much your device will lag.. This device deserves 9.2

N8 is nothing special!
Did you see other devices???
Did you see video from N8???
N8 is slow and laggy phone (like Omnia HD) and have small resolution and old AMOLED and too crappy OS and 256 RAM only and too old slow processor!!
That is point, why is for me 8,5 deserved...

[deleted post]ye, thats true.. they love samsung madly.. i noticed that see they get high end samsung devices to review months before actual launch n they generally dont criticize those ugly phone with ugly touch wiz ui..
