NOKIA....pls release it WORLD WIDE before FIFA WORLD CUP SOCCER Starts...it's the best time for release and it will make your business double.
Is it true that this phone has a QWERTY keyboard?
Mihai, 11 May 2010Specs are nice BUT...symbian?! I've been using symbian for ~6 years now.I got sick of it! Noth... more6 years ago you wold have dat the 6630 or 6680 or 6202 maybe (that was the latest thing back then)...even had that catchy comercial clip where it was presented like an open book for a little girl, media library, etc.
Ok, Symbian intrface is very similar...but that is the ADVANTAGE of a good OS ... imporoving on the platform, adding new features etc whilekeeping it so easy and so accesible to people. There is no one who can complain that they picked up a Symbian for the first time and can't use it....OR you can go from an old Symbian to the latest and need less than 2-3minutes to get used to it.
It's like Windows on your PC...difference between win 3.11 and Vista is not that big...if you have used only 3.11 by now (hipotheticaly) you need about 5-10minutes to get used to vista before using it
[deleted post]hello kitty, if ur claim is true then upload some videos in youtube for us to view your personal experience. okeeeeyyy, if you can't then y should we believe u n d 1st place. I love the specs and I hope it will be PAR with the UI exp with other manufacturers.
[deleted post]yeah sure we all believe you are using a N8 demo. nOt
Watz wrong wit u. I've think u've gone mad about Nokia it seems. don be too addicted to Nokia because its a big fake.
So far indeed a great phone by nokia good job well done.
Delvin, 11 May 2010I love this phone but I'm scared and excited as well regarding N8's UI performance, this may f... moreActually in terms of UI, don't expect the 'wow' thingy!
The UI has changed, but not significantly, u know .. added 2 more home screens, being single touched, removing lots of the service messages, adding cover-flow like to the music player, multitouch support ..etc! but not the 'wow' .. if you need to 'wow' .. quoting nokia: you have to wait for S^4!
Please read N97 horror stories before you buy any Nokia phone
I love this phone but I'm scared and excited as well regarding N8's UI performance, this may fail or bring wow to people. I wish sum1 could have a detailed review of the UI performance and the widgets seems like N97 homescreen with 3 panels. Would sum1 at least give list of expected changes of the UI from S^1 to S^3. thanks
I think it would have been better for nokia to release this master piece N8 before WORLD CUP SOCCER starts...
Anonymous, 11 May 2010Why do you need higher res"Why do you need higher res"
Becaquse i have both 5800 and N900, and the res of 5800 is crap, and its same as N8. The N900 however, 800x480, its so much better that if i call it "ok" then 5800/N8 Res has to be classified as "useless". When surfing the web in landscape mode the difference is enormous, most pages fit on the screen direcly with the 800, and dont need to scroll too much up and down with the 480.
Bottom line, my personal experience is that 640x360 sux.
werez the innovation??dey didnt evn bothered abt protecting the camera lens........its aweful...
n8 vs ''Samsung S9000''
12megapixel camera with xenon flash and optical zoom.
32 GB intern.
4.1'' Super Amoled Screen.
[deleted post]370 euro .. before taxes!
How would nokia promote this phone
