Anonymous, 11 May 2010its not in same price class as iphone 4G, and N8 doesnt have a high res display to compete in ... moreyeah whatever! haha, iPhones have their own price class - thats insanely over the top and the least-bang-for-your-buck! haha. Apple is swindling all your money
But on the other hand, the res does seem a little bit unsatisfactory but it is enough. Had to be like that since its 16:9 ratio. Besides its AMOLED so even if the res is low (not that it is low) it means the picture quality will be awesome!
Besides regardless of the res a picture would be a picture in the same 3.5inch screen w/ diff res'es :p

[deleted post]its not in same price class as iphone 4G, and N8 doesnt have a high res display to compete in the higher classes. I dont like anything apple, but still gotta say that N8 is pretty low class, the display is the main problem. Same res as 5800, absolutely not enough, not even close...
You cant throw in a good cam to make up for a display that belongs in 2008. Nokia forgot to turn pages on their calendar when they constructed N8, and more than a few pages. Basically N8 is not on the same page as high end fones, so all we can do is wait for Nokia to release a serious product, coz N8 isnt.

BTW have you tried the phone guys?
u cant prejudge phones before trying them, cuz u never know.
Posting crab about N8 is due to 2 reasons:
- Being jealous
- Cant afford one
- Apple smells rotten compared to this, so why not post crab
- Nokia is 1 and we all know -Survey proves it- .
- Sony erection cannot erect any more, posting crab wont make your phone erect at all!
- Samsung lovers cant believe that their factory that happens to be manufacturing refrigerators and washing machines is no more match for Nokia.
Symbian is like windows, i am used to symbian and windows, it wont be lovely to spend a month trying to learn about new systems and getting new apps and old apps compatibility issues and blah blah blah!!
Nokia tweaked symbian and renew it and that is the best i can ask for right now.
Nokia you introduced mobiles in to our lives others tried to imitate you, one half has failed and the other half has produced ugly useless blocks of plastic.

Do you know that the major problem that faces mobile makers is the battery?
You will not be satisfied with 2 ghz phone that dies in 2 hours!!
The problem is in energy not power and performance.
But as we have evolutions and revolutions, in 2 years or so i expect very powerful phones to show up that can save u from carrying your camera or even your PSP !!
But right know companies want their phones to be small, and so there is less space for batteries, so they cant use longer life batteries because they are larger in size, so the solution is all about selecting energy efficient yet fast components and tweak the OS to have better performance, and that is what nokia did with the N8.

680mhz is evidence ... and .. old amoled... and... small resolution... and... poor OS... etc...

All new smart Phones are using faster processo... more650mhz is fast enough for a phone nokia are smart not putting 1 ghz in as this keeping it down too 650mhz is good enough for a phone it is not big like a computer so it dosnt need it, nokia are alot smarter than you think because if you think well 1ghz is power hungry for a phone and it is out big like a computer so it dosnt need it, think about it nokia are saving power and it still is fast:)
