by the time this thing comes out, those slick looking Android phones with customized slick flashy user interfaces would've been announced. They'll come with the new version of Android with full flash support! =PP Windows Phone 7 Series phones will be announced too! They have slick designs with slick MODERN UIs. ;)while this old shtty phone is stuck with a boring same old shtty symbian experience with same old so last decade look and still has boring useless apps.

how idiotic of nokia to put non user replaceable battery in n8. very much dis appointing.
nokia alwasy managed to put something bad in their best phones.

Hmm. . .i have no idea what's with this symbian^3 os, yeah, it does look good with it's 12mp cam but can those nokia dude let me test one of those n8?? Lol!

If u havent try the phone yet how u know its not good?? why u need a 1ghz processor when 680mhz is enough?? isnt it a waste if u need 680mhz proceesor to operate N8 yet u put a 1ghz processor on it. try it first if u dont like it go and get an iphone.

Friends, most of people are jealous of Nokia because they have spent more money to buy a phone from other manufacturers and now nokia is giving better more better features at quite a low price, they cant digest it...

I love ucweb browser and nokia cause ucweb browser can have 14 tab in my x6. Are android and iphone have browser like ucweb, if have maybe i will someday buy it, but for now and surely my next new phone is nokia n8. Nokia n8 rock and dance. See symbian ^3 demo in youtube. Ok for now it's really jam and hot in here.

Phone specification is good.but not attractive model.why nokia not bothered about stylish.
also this is not a innovative spec.
Samsung & SE already made HD phones.
samsung omina has DNSe 2.0 Digital Natural Sound Engine & Virtual 5.1 channel Dolby surround.

I read a lot of comments on how crap the this phone is even before it has hit the stores and it makes me laugh. I do have a question for you Android and Iphone OS lovers out there, is there any special feature or function that is available on your phones (lets put games aside shall we) that is not available on a Symbian OS. I hear some argue that the CPU is not fast enough. For me this argument is as false and old as the CPU on an MAC is not as "highspec-ed' as one in a Windows machine. Higher CPU speed is irrelevant if the job gets done just as well on a lower clock speed and in this case, the Symbian OS does not need a 1GHz processor to do the same job. Some have asked why it did not come with Android OS. I ask you the same, why doesn't the IPhone come with Android? One more point I would want to add to question comments that the screen resolution is too low for a flagship model. Was the N86 a flagship model for Nokia, I never thought so. It was the best camera phone Nokia produced up to that time (replacing the N82, the previous photography top dog) but it was never in the "flagship" price range even though it was no slouch when HW was concerned. I think it should be obvious when the price was also announced for the N8 that this is meant to be a 'best in the market Nokia camera phone' and not necessarily the top of the pile Nokia phone. Perhaps its to soon for the N9 (possibly loaded with Symbian 4) to replace the N97.

Anonymous, 30 Apr 2010Ive been wondering for years when any manufacturer will upgrade the vga videocalling camera t... moreif they make a videocalling camera of 1.3mp then it would increase the tariff for video call and it may be braking in transmission as it would mean a higher data transfer cos mp cameras have better quality than vga so you take more memory

Hey you nokia haters see, the picture quality of N8 is comparable to a digicam of 300 euros (google it if you dont trust me) , means you are just spending some 70 euros to buy a well featured smartphone, dont say this phones feature are bad.
This phone have 680 mhz cpu with graphics accelerator (which is 3 times more powerful than 3gs, google it) they both together work as a 900 mhz cpu..
