The phone is almost perfect..
HDMI is good.
the only thing that i dont like about this is the Symbian OS.. (well i dont like it to have a android since 680mhz is not enough for android)
Symbian with 680mhz is overkill IMO, it can run great on 400+mhz.. the only reason why it has 680 is because of the HD videos. Symbian OS dont need great power to run smooth.
Please nokia make it smooth as iphone in web browsing. put great transition effects like in android.

But sincerly what is an OS that limits resolution to 640. Come on it's 2010, and it's time for Nokia to either drop symbian and move fully to Meego or change the whole symbian concept and by changing I mean :
- better resolution
- better kinetik scrolling
- more app dev. by opening the market like the others
- work on compatibity issues
I understand that Nokia uses symbian on this phone because meego would cripple the Camera which is the main feature of this phone. But look at samsung. with the galaxy s they showed that 720p @ 30FPS can be recorded on Android! But we have to say that it uses hummingbird, the fastest CPU/GPU around.

everything is nice about this phone except CPU. I hope nokia will adopt new fast CPU in future model. Great Phone.........

Finally Nokia N8 Coming with it's Maximum Feature specially AMOLED multitouch screen,3D Graphics HW accelerator, 12MP with Xenon & 720p@25fps video...its great.....

Totally agree to COpier. somehow..nokia have a huge fan..and taste will answer. All the best nokia. Personally i don't interest with this N8. except come with low price ($350-400)..but it may come with $500-700.

I always think nokia is copy cat vendor. Always waiting for opponent products and copy ( with better feature ). Never innovative, never invent. that's why i don't like nokia. SE, Samsung, LG is true innovator. then Motorola follow. But nokia..will be flop. sure..

First impression is great..then read specifications : dissapointed. Then see the picture : no way (1000x better Satio and Pixon). Final words : i give 7/10

25... moreWhatever you say symbian is true smartphone os, and way better than android and I phone os. Only it lacks eye-candy-ness.. 1200 mAh is pretty good for this phone. You dont like this phone because you jealous of Nokia..
See if a phone which costs only 370 euros has so many decent features, think for N9 and more upcoming phones by nokia, they will be better than this..

Hola...Welcome Back Nokia..unfortunately not a big Kick for N8, totally ugly, and i see like copier between iphone, Satio and pixon (not even better among). somehow alike to electric shaver. But the feature is very powerfull...depends on Nokia fan now. Close u r Eyes or Open and decide to think clear. for me is No.Good luck N8. Wait for N9 in 2012!

256 RAM? (can't run many apps)
680 MHz processor? ( will be slow like a pig)
1200 mAh battery? (might need to charge 3 times a day)
can't compare to any smart phones, iPhone, SAMSUNG Wave or Galaxy S and HTC Desire, except the came. What a shame?
Well, N8 may be the best for Nokia Fanboys. Better than nothing...huhuhu...
