icedre, 27 Apr 2010the phone looks ugly to me , even if it have 1080p hd 50fps & 20 mp camera , nokia got the... moreand what`s the video res on your old SE? and screen res? does it have 3.5 mm audio jack? no...shove your SE crap up your arse,come back when you can afford a new phone..stupid comparison your making
toni, 27 Apr 2010unfortunately this phone looks bad; i think it looks like you have put another phone (iphone) ... moreNo its not, the BLACK one, looks an AINO..
which i believe has a great design.
but yeah, the yellow one looks bad.
unfortunately this phone looks bad; i think it looks like you have put another phone (iphone) in a phone case or frame, ugly.
same old symbian, with no new thing, i was a nokia lover but nokia is going way down, dont konw who is guiding nokia to these new things
I don't think that the ARM 11 supports HDMI out and 720p video recording . This might be using the TEGRA chip or something similar
* Processor ARM11 MPCore @ 700Mhz, 16/32-bit LP-DDR, NAND Flash support
* Audo/ Video Processing 720p H.264 and VC-1/WMV9 decode, 720p H.264 encode, Supports multi-standard audio formats, including AAC, AMR, WMA and MP3, JPEG encode and decode acceleration
* Imaging Up to 12 megapixel camera sensor support, Integrated ISP, Advanced imaging features
* True dual-display support
Maximum display resolutions supports:
- 720p (1280×720) HDMI 1.3
- SXGA (1280×1024) LCD
- SXGA (1280×1024) CRT
- NTSC/PAL TV output
It looks like the cellphone is kept inside the docking station. Remove the extra fat around the phone it is the sleekest phone with the best configuration and value for money.
The design turns me off. They should put some effort and technology to shrink the thickness and work on the design. Look at the E series phone, why they have to design a brick again when they have done excelent work on the E series. Anything above 10mm does not make any sense. For flash it already have the bulge, rest of the phone should be max 10mm.
My only concern which I find very reasonable is how well built is the hardware? Can we compare it to SE and Samsung??
Other that that the new OS and specs are super and anyone that doesn't admit it is just a totally baised unfair humen.
123, 27 Apr 2010 Issues for people from Nokia! Where the super AMOLED screen as the Samsung? Why are there no ... moreYes ofcourse and samsung doesn't have a flash in their best flagship phone just wow!!
Super amoled + no flash woo wow wow what a great combination technology looooooooool.
Samsung users are just a laugh so funny and lately they are getting more pathetic that iphone users :)
The ARM 11 probably helps the battery. If it runs good, why do u need a better CPU ? The E71 runs great on 370 mhz CPU
does this phone actually hav stereo speakers??? pictures dint show any.....
Ok leave us from HTC now, I'm talking about NOKIA VS samsung
And the results are :
12mp + xenon + HD > 5mp + HD + ? ? ? ? Sorry I forgot no flash
Again the CPU is low, but this time with hardware acceleration. Oh Nokia why give us some many things but slow CPU.
I understand some fans will say the symbian will run smoothly but a better cpu would have done more justice for symbian to compete against other smartphone vendors.
Issues for people from Nokia! Where the super AMOLED screen as the Samsung? Why are there no more powerful CPU? Where is dvix player? Samsung already uses a 1GHz and DviX! not to mention the Android????
this phone is set to dominate the mobile market. best one i've ever seen yet
And by the way SE Satio also has a 600mhz processor but does this make it a bad or slow phone?? He*l NO!!
With Symbian os the 600 mhz is just great trust me! So no worries at all ;)
Nicholas, 27 Apr 2010Hey friend, think before youtalk. The processor speed isn't the most important thing. You can ... moreI saw the N8 'official' demo video which was superslow.
The reason why I care the CPU speed a lot is particularly for the internet speed(Both Wi-Fi and 3G), which is very dependent on CPU speed that no ARM11 could beat Cortex-A8, as proven too many times in so many benchmarks.
If I am to buy any Nokia phone, it'll be N900 with great specs, although I've never seen.
