Because N8 & all Symbian 3 devices are running on a medium range 680 MHz processor,they are sometimes hang. But it can be solved right away by closing the open apps or restart the device, and it's not a problem to me, because the rest of specs & features in N8 are excellent.
N8 has some features that other phones & OSes might not have and support:
*12 MP Camera + Carl Zeiss optics + autofocus + Xenon flash
*FM transmitter that is so useful for listening our music and sound files in car radio or home radio stereo.
*The total storage capacity is 48 GB(16 GB in internal memory + 32GB in external memory)
*HDMI *USB OTG
*Via Belle refresh you can get some cool features like HTML5, DLNA Server, the lattest version of Nokia MAP by Navtech - the Best Map you can find in the market.
*The Symbian efficient power management can amazingly make 1200 Mha battery in N8 last for 2 days with a normal use.
*Don't forget the price of N8 is now cheap !

Then its defenetly wurth it...but if u whant a smooth, good software, then ur at the wrong adress...its about software nothing compared against apple's touch 4th generations and above...well, this is atleast my advice. I do it like this:(cuz i like its camera) got n8 for photographing and gonna buy a ipod touch 5 for the rest. Goodluck making the choise :)

Can anyone tell me how to get around no loudspeaker on Skype? I tried the headset which came with the phone but the volume is just too soft. It is fine with music, radio etc though. I am thinking of getting an external speaker. Will that work?
