I used the N8 a while then upgraded to SG SII. Now I am back to using my N8 and these are the reasons:
Much better battery life, better camera, much more reliable cell reception, message alert light, better cusomizable ring alerts, louder ring tone, better music player.
I do miss the bigger screen on the SII as well as much faster processor and better OS. So my next phone I want the Nokia 920 which will have very good reliable nokia hardware with great windows 8 software. Can't wait..

i had recently updated soft.symbian to bell.its nice then symbian but whenever i call someone or someone is calling me and between talk ,aft. few second mobile get restart itself . i could not understand wht is happing to my cell . any one have idea for it ..pls help me ... ( its happing aft the updated the sowft.)

The N8's camera has been overtaken by the 808 Pureview. And, will come behind the new Lumia 920's Pureview camera when it's released later this year.
What you need to understand is Mega pixels are not the only factor when judging how good a digital camera is. Other factors, such as sensor size and optics have to be taken into consideration.

The man asked if Molome is the same with instagram. He didn't asked if molome is instagram...;) Grammar my a##! And yes, molome has the same functionality as instagram. So you can name it as an instagram for symbian... Is quite clear for everybody that Molome is not Instagram just by the name, or? But the propose of the program is the same. So, if you know about instagram, then Molome is an 'instagram' for symbian. If you don't know... then Molome is a program for symbian... Herr sematics!

Molome is a photo-sharing social network, like Instagram. They have similar features But you can't literally say "Symbian has Instagram", that is erroneous. Molome is not Instagram. Rather, "Symbian has Molome".
So yeah, I'm too particular about grammar and semantics. It's just that there are many inquirers within these forums who are... Um... Too easily confused. The answers they get should be accurate.

Recently I was out of my home country india ,to Singapore. And finding places and address on Nokia map helped me lot money wise.
Offline map helped me to saved from data charge of $20/mb . And each time I used my phone ,I felt it as the saviour .believe me,Nokia is Nokia ,worth each penny ..Samsung doesn't have offline map with GPS support and voice guidance ,and carry it out of country throw it in sea.

flash, 15 Sep 2012Nokia N8 is perfect but I can not find how to turn on the flash light (torch). I don't know if... moreThere is no torch light for N8 because its got a xenon flash unlike a LED flash like other phones...very bright.
