i m using this phn for more than a year , its not only a phn , it is my dear frend- i share every thing with it
#beautiful design
#210ppi hd picture and video quality
u can play even blueray movies
#install full version apps from nokiavnn.com
#play hd games
#alot of useful apps in ovi and n8fanclub.com and u can also update ur n8 with custum firmware available on the website
#12mp camera with dual flash with hd recording
#fm transmitter play ur car stereo direct with ur n8
#pendrive on go support
#hdmi -tv out
these are important features, u will not found in other phones
there are sum drawback also but only negligible
like it get bit slows when 5 6 multi apps working together , bit slower in playing flash videos , i found width of screen little less as compared to others , it is some time got hanged and restart itself
but one thing for sure if u have this u will definitely become engg. Of this phone, it is just like ur pc with 16GB internal memory, u need to just maintain the phone and it will work brilliantly,
i played angry bird in apple and on n8, i found the game working much smoother in n8 .... Well finaly if u have this you will not need else....

judith, 14 Sep 2012hey, can n8 play large files like 5gb hd movie??of course, yes. it can play 720p HD video/movies. i tried it playing movie Captain America more than 6gb file size.

symbian os is good but some people says that symbian is lags and restart some times its because of install useless application in your phone regular use of mobile cleaner app in your mobile

I have used this phone and had a great experience that i always had it has a good quality to play the net on the wi fi mode and good camera to record movie's on hd type so plz buy this phone and help ur self to click'n some good picture of ur life

i have sold out my samsung galaxy S2 today which is only 16 days old. Now i have ordered nokia N8 which i will get tomorrow. Really excited. Now relaxed and have peace of mind.

which is better among this----GOOGLE NEXUS S, GALAXY S(I9000), NOKIA N8, NOKIA 701, LG OPTIMUS BLACK. previously i used xperia live with walkman, i want a better camera, fast and good gaming set. some user says that if u used a android phone previous then u dont like symbian. plz help..

SOmeone plz help me if there is any way i can speed up the process of opening/receiving/sending txt messages. Before Belle, i had no problem with my SMS messages but now it is so hard for me especially if i would have to receive simultaneous txt messages at the same time or reply to other message while receiving from another one. it really slows the process and there are times that i felt throwing my N8 due to this sooo slow operation...

infact this phone is awesome...good i cant wait for the latest belle update...belle fp1....n8 is strong n realiable than c7 and 701..despite different n ram still n8 has it respect as senior...i love this phone muahh...

I used the N8 a while then upgraded to SG SII. Now I am back to using my N8 and these are the reasons:
Much better battery life, better camera, much more reliable cell reception, message alert light, better cusomizable ring alerts, louder ring tone, better music player.
I do miss the bigger screen on the SII as well as much faster processor and better OS. So my next phone I want the Nokia 920 which will have very good reliable nokia hardware with great windows 8 software. Can't wait..
