I'm commenting here after a heavy usage of my beloved Nokia n8 for more than one and half years..
1) if you don't use a custom firmware in your n8 i feel really sorry for you (use delight 5.2 then you'll see what I'm talking about)
2) some guys here still haven't even heard about 'sound quality mod', 'photo quality improvement mods' etc. I can't even think of using my n8 without mods...! (after sound improvement mod my n8 produced great sound at 50% volume which my friend's galaxy s2 couldn't provide even at 100% level..
3) I never use Nokia default browser except for exceptional cases because it really sucks..! But opera mini is very Good and I'm typing this too using opera.. (i can open as much as 30 tabs without having issues)
4) some guys still don't know if you use 'light control' app you can increase your n8 screen brightness as much as galaxy s line..
5) many Nokia geeks know 'automatic call recording without beep', 'install server hack for any app installation' etc but ordinary people don't have a clue...
6) i always use 'camera pro' for photography and results are just stunning due to customizable saturation and contrast... (i like vivid colors) but people who are using default app think that's the best and ultimately get upset..
7) many people ask about video calling over internet.. Why don't you use fring..? I use whatsapp for chatting and sending files etc. Skype for audio calling, fring for video calling, fmobi and gravity for facebook etc..
8) default email client is not best in class but does the job Ok..
9) phone is slow when you compare it with galaxy and nobody can deny that..
10) battery life is unbelievable.. I always feel pity about my sgs 2 friend who usually has his phone plugged in to current..
11) i know.. Many of you don't even know that we can change theme effects of our n8s.. Poor you guys.. Just try jinhao effects and you will not be able to take your eyes away from the screen..
All you have to do is 'just Google' and you will find all the above and make your device a wonderful one..

Updated just to belle refresh, now my n8 is perfect :) This is major update, overall performance is much better than before. Thank you Nokia!

My N8 is sometimes automatically switching off(rarely). And when i restart the screen is showing first 35% from top as full green and balance 70% upto down in white. Is this an issue with hardware or software?

Symbian belle refresh has made my n8 more smooth,more functional,more battery life.Symbian belle is developing day by day.A lot of thanks to Nokia.

Can i play hd games like mortal combat, nfs or other hd games? From where i can get? One more thing...i cant play some 720p mp4 video and some video not play at full wide screen mode, i mean it shows full screen but not ful wide(3.5"). My friend has wave 2 and she can play all types of hd video at full wide screen. Is there any video player app on ovi store? Plz help.

I dropped my hot cup tea in my n8 by mistake .
But suprise that ... morereally, Build quality of nokia is awesome...
my x mobile was nokia x6... its screen was cracked by some heavy metal... but still then its touch screen was working pretty smooth in that time... one mobile repair engineer was stunned by seeing that...
