hey can somebody tell me, is there is any kinda software for video chat or video calling cos in my nokia N8 skype's not give as the permission for video calling,what do i do!? :/

There are thousands of faulty iphones and samsung, why nobody complains about that? wanna know why? Because sheeps don't complain only if all sheeps start to complain. So for me, your point of view about n8 is as lame as the ios interface. Symbian maybe dying now, maybe! And that's only because nokia management was chaotic. This my dear has nothing to do with the system, which, by the way, before the chaos started was in fact increasing sales by almost 8 percent. At that time they were having 39 percent stable on the market share, quite allot, don't you think? I'd say that people were paid to take down the nokia brand so can the sh*t brand phones sale, so can the iphone take some market share. This is my conspiracy. But don't be so proud of your beloved apple, cause this guys here, without microsoft, would have been dead and buried by now, and not just once but two times, interesting no? Taking the so called high quality device in consideration. Anyway, let's stick to nokia! What falls down must come up. In other words, symbian is still the moast stable system on the market. With a proper management, a good kick in the interface,which for me is much better than android right now, nokia is soon to take life. All that nokia has to do is to start maipulate the flock of sheeps as the others have done, and the sales will start.

N8 Rocks!!! haha..for those haters F**ckoff!! you sir are so jealous because you don't own one or you don't know how to use it!!!well there is no medicine for troll jealous people that is commenting bad about n8..think about it.2 years after its release still rocking!!!coz ur mobile are in 2nd hand shop or in garbage but our n8 still rocking!!!

Hi, for everyone whose n8 is lagging please download NetQin Mobile Security from the link and install.
Open the app goto "SYS Optimization" and click "Optimize" and the lagging goes away. For more speed you can goto "Boot acceleration" and disable all the start-up apps.

Carol, 18 Aug 2012Ok, for those who realy own a n8 but, in my opinion, have no idea how to use a smartphone. ... more100% agree with you!!! I remember a comment (1 year ago)here at this N8forum. He was complaining about "hanging, freezing,etc...)" while he was keeping stored in memory hundreds and hundreds of emails and he was wondering why it happens!!!

Norton hack is a method of cracking your phone so you can install any unsigned apps in your phone but beware of it because it can bring some problems on your phone when you update the phone OS so be careful with that

Dear carol,
You are ohhhhhhh so wrong. alot of the people who comment about the N8 have never used one or have never used symbian, that much is true however i have. Not only have i used the device but i have also sold it and i can tell you i got everyone that i sold come back into my store for ELF, DOA (dead on arrival) or just plain ui and symbian bugs. the phone is crap the operating system is crap and overall the phone and nokia nowadays are just an all round bad experience.
Lastly before you rant that im and ifan or and android junkie as i actually run a phone store myself i have used most of the operating systems and they all have there faults even my favourite which is android but none so much as the N8 with symbian.
P.S
Symbian may have been one of the first and as you said it is a grandfather and by that it means its old, useless and dying.

stly everything you see is a cheap copy of symbian "IMPROVED" for some,that don't know much. Symbian is the father, mother, grandparent, big brother, of them all.

If you want a phone that is smart and as a very good camera, choose n8 or pure view (better than the n8). If you want an internet tablet with some phone functions, choose samsung. But you need to know that this tablet here eats allot of battery so, you will need another phone to keep your self in contact with people.
