I hope there is at least 1 person from nokia reading our posts.
I agree with some people here that the least Nokia can do is to develop a feature pack specifically for N8, E7 and X7. Camera update must be included. The out-of-the-box camera software (with ^3 or anna) is better than camera update for belle.
A feature pack that will include all the functionalities in Anna plus, of course, with Belle's.
I already made a decision to buy N808 pureview but since with my experience in belle, I'm having second thoughts. This phone comes with Symbian belle with Feature Pack 1 (FP1). Belle had proven its unworthiness to me. So, it will be double jeopardy if I buy it.
Sad thing...

I agree. Though functionality of the phone is smoother and a little bit faster, there are some basic features in Anna OS that are NOT PRESENT in Belle. For example, in Anna, you can view anytime you wish how much of battery life is left. In belle, only when you power off you can see the battery status, and sometimes this status doe NOT show up when you power down.
My N8 now hangs sometimes in Belle. Whereas before with Anna OS, my phone NEVER hanged.
In short, Symbian Belle is a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT to us who upgraded.
I fully regret why did I ever upgraded. And on top of that, I waited for a long time because I believed Belle is a promising OS with better functions and experience. But it turned the other way around.
As a whole, Anna is better than Belle.
N8 on belle is a downgrade. I recently bought an n8 with pre-installed belle os. While there has been improvements in the browser and works somewhat smoother, the camera doesn't produce pictures just as good as in s^3 and anna and the music player is quite horrible. Not only is the sound too soft, it is also the worst i have ever got from a nokia phone. My c6-01 and e6 which i haven't upgraded to belle has brighter pictures and a whole lot better sound..

I am stuck with pre pr1.0, belle and delight belle. It is very leghty process for pr 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, anna and you have to download software in Gb not in Mb. I have to keep my phone some time on ventilator. Ha ha.... What a fun by nokia.

Apple will refund Australian customers over the new iPad 4G capabilities
Article by: Nancy Clayson
Apple has announced that will refund Australian customers who felt misled about the 4G capabilities of the new iPad.
The country’s consumer watchdog has taken Apple to court for false advertising because the tablet computer does not work on Australia’s 4G network.
Apple’s lawyers said they were willing to publish a clarification.
However, Appler the company does not accept that it misled customers.
Australia’s Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) said on Tuesday “that Apple’s recent promotion of the new is misleading because it represents to Australian consumers that the product can, with a Sim card, connect to a 4G mobile data network in Australia, when this is not the case“.
Apple has announced that will refund Australian customers who felt misled about the 4G capabilities of the new iPad
The watchdog then lodged a complaint at the Federal Court in Melbourne.
At a preliminary hearing, Apple lawyer Paul Anastassiou said Apple had never claimed the device would work fully on the current 4G network operated by Telstra.
Apple says the new iPad works on what is globally accepted to be a 4G network.
The matter could go to full trial after the Easter break.
The Apple iPad’s third version went on sale earlier this month, with Australia the first country where it was available.
Shoppers lined up by the hundreds at Apple stores on opening day and the company said it had been its strongest iPad launch to date.
The ACCC said it was seeking an injunction on sales as well as a financial penalty against Apple, corrective advertising and refunds to consumers.
On its website, Apple does state that 4G LTE is only supported on selected networks in the US and Canada.
What I want to say nokia, this is the customer service. It is not like you left millions of customers with belle crying. You have to do something to keep in the market. Either give a link to revert to anna 25.007 or make belle fully functional with feature pack or otherwise any means. Otherwise you have to pay heavy price for that in future. Who will trust you ?
I was running to catch up the transport suddenly something fill out of my sweater pocket and bounced away from my location.. It was my N8... wiped the dust and moved on.. nothing happened to the mobile !... 10/10 device i assure you it
i atleast drop my phone twice a week and it still functings perfectly, something that an iphone can't do.
I must say best phone i've ever had, please vote 10/10
This belle makes us doctor. Whenever, we are trying to downgrade, it becomes dead. Then we have to put it on dialysis. It start breathing again. But we bought this phone for use. Now nokia is enforcing us to use phoenix, navifirm and cooker like stuff. This is very bad nokia. It looks daya are not far when, there would be lock on nokia. Try to give belle feature pack or give a link to revert to anna. Whenever you fixed belle let us know, we will upgrade it. But the phone should be fully functional. You are unnecessary harrassing us. This phone was a king, but due to your bad strategy, you made it sick. Now we are sick. Tit for tat. Nokia you have to become sick now. Ha ha ha. Whatever you will sow, so shall you reap.

Actually the original software PR1.0 was best for this phone. I have tried PR1.1, this was also good. You can play youtube low resolution video (176x144) very clearly. But it was freezing some time. Then I upgraded PR1.2, the real problem for youtube low resolution starts from here. Then anna, belle, delight belle. All have some shortcoming. But this phone is excellent piece of hardware. Due to software it is not performing, as it should be. Now I have pre PR1.0. It is best for me. You have tv out (av) and you can watch low resolution youtube videos very clearly. Whereas in PR1.2 onwards picture starts distorting. I will only wait feature pack belle. Then I will try that one. By that time pre Pr1.0 is performing best. The old is gold.
AT&T launches WP-powered Lumia 900 and Titan II
07 April, 2012
Just as previously promised, AT&T has released the Nokia Lumia 900 and HTC Titan II to its customers.
The Nokia Lumia 900 is a Windows Phone smartphone with LTE connectivity, a 4.3" ClearBlack display of WVGA (480 x 800) resolution and an 8 MP camera with Carl-Zeiss optics. It will set you back $99.99 on a two-year deal or $449.99 without commitment. Here's the product page.
The HTC Titan II pushes the megapixel boundaries by bringing 16 MP stills to the Windows Phone game and comes with a 4.7" Super LCD of WVGA resolution. It will cost a cool $199.99 on a two-year contract or $549.99 SIM-free. You can find it listed on AT&T site here.

Free Xpress-on covers and discounts for the Nokia Lumia 710
07 April, 2012
Nokia have been busy revitalizing their brand image in the US, originally the with the introduction of their Windows Phone-endowed Lumia 710 and more recently its bigger brother the LTE-capable Lumia 900. It looks as though people are forgetting about the phone that started it all however and as such Nokia have announced a pair deals for owners and prospective buyers of the 710.
For starters, those who can prove that they recently purchased a Nokia Lumia 710 will be able to register for a second Xpress-on colored back cover. The extra rear plates are available in cyan, fuchsia, yellow and white and are designed to suit either version of 710 (black or white bodied). In order to prove eligibility, users will have to register their IMEI number, phone number and list a purchase date in order for Nokia to send them an extra back cover, free of charge.
The second part of the Lumia 710's two-pronged attack is the price drop on a two-year contract to free, from $49.99. With the competent hardware of the Lumia 710, considering its mid-range credentials, that's not too shabby, but its not all smiles, as prospective customers will only be able to take advantage of this discount via means of a $50 mail-in rebate.
We expect that, for the meantime at least, this price drop is a temporary move on T-Mobile's part, but we suspect they won't leave it too long before permanently making the Lumia 710 gratis on contract. Lets see if our hunch is right in the coming months.
Have either of these offers caught your attention, or are Nokia still struggling to appear on your radar? Follow this link to register for a free back cover if you're eligible too.
