I have been using my N8 so far it's running smooth especially the hardware., I got a free GPS, FM transmitter for my car, great camera and video and etc..
It's really a practical phone for me and i will use it for a long time.

can anyone tell me if belle will harm my phone ? i mean decrease the battery power or the camera quality ?

I think that the phone would perfect at all if it has more speed and large screen. Otherwise this is the best cell in nokia.

The main thing is whether or not the user would like to hack his phone to use them themes. I myself prefer not to hack my phone that is why I directed our fellow n8er to the delight version of belle which enables the installation of unsigned sis apps. Thank you for the clarification from your side and i humbly apologize for misinformation provided from my side based on the assumption that it would be easier to install custom themes on belle delight.

Sorry to correct you i am using official belle which was updated by Nokia care center but still i am able to use the Jin hao V3 theme effects installed in my N8 and working perfectly . So even if you have a official belle we can use the theme effects .

Unfortunately updating to belle on n8 will not allow you to have the same theme effects as on the 808. But if you install the belle delight 4.0 and with a bit of tinkering you can have some super theme effects on your n8. There is a step by step tutorial and necessary tools on www.n8fanclub.com

Question: Why do the fandroids still compare the N8 to a galaxy s2? Does that mean the n8 is so good that they actually had to wait for a Samsung-android phone just to compare it with... The lengths to which people will go to down nokia is simply... Astonishing! N8 is great that's a fact! Show me one android phone with the same specs as n8 and prove that it can perform as fluid or better than the n8.

I bought n8 last january 9, less than two months now, but it has a camera problem now, i can't use the camera now. everytime i open the cam my phone hanging. The camera doesn't work anymore.

That wa... morethanks for your reply Lexyneke, the reason i uprated my firmware was`nt for the app`s or better internet connection was to see if it would improve the speaker problem, the phone is basicly for making calls and text but also for the great camera it as, but some people are saying the uprate from anna makes the camera worst as i also bought the phone because it is a great ready to hand point & shoot gadget,cheers mick

Point of correction: there has never been any update in any OS without som hitches, man-made, or by oversight. Most applicatns hav to be upgraded to Belle compliance. I advice you hard reset your phone & reinstall applicatns only from Nokia store for now. Again, check your phone software updater for updates on Nokia Store. Any company can be in crisis; what matters is ability to rise up again. Nokia is on the road to recovery with or without Symbian!! Nokia 808 was made for those it appeals to; it must not be for you. So, keep very calm on that!! If you want to leave Nokia, good and fine, leave!!! But, you will be back soon begging for membership!!
