[deleted post]im an N8 user, my current os now is anna and wish to update to belle. Wud you giv me any pros and cons of the belle pls? I am hesitant to update bcoz some user's of n8 once updated to belle seems unsatistisfied that leads to sell out their unit itself. Could you erase my hesitations pls? Tks

Ciaodude don't be so frustrated, there is a way of downgrading belle to anna you don't need to trade your phone.
Tip: google n8 scandinavia downgrade

seems to be way better than what peo... moreIf you just read my posts recently, then you'll understand why I'm so frustrated. Good to hear that some are liking it. For me, there are still bugs in Belle. It was NOT an upgrade, but surely a DOWNGRADE in most cases. Thanks to you, stupid Nokia, who is running after a stupid OS (Windows), leaving a superb OS (Symbian) behind. And as people are not buying Windows phones, they are trying to kill Symbian by ruining the user experience of Symbian OS.

That is the 1st reason for me to buy the phone, replacing my stand alone camera. Still, after the Belle update, I feel the same way about it. I can't complain about the camera. Maybe, the update was different in some areas. Because, I didn't find the "voice command" widget in my N8 after the update which, unfortunately, everyone else are telling that they have. I really don't know, even now, I take great pictures like before, no complain about the camera after the update.

on 2nd feb i m purhase n8. Its anna. After a week i m return dis to nokia rds. Then i m buying again on 15 feb. Its belle n feel much better dan anna. Its awesome frnd. No lagg, battery backup better, touch improved,nice graphics, better ui, n all features better then anna n android also. N8 amazed me,great phone at reasionable price @19449 inr guys...thanx nokia

EVERY OTHER OS makers make the later one the better one, but not NOKIA. In even Anna, I could see my call details like time & date, along with the duration of that call. But in Belle, where the hell is that, Nokia? What were you thinking? I so loved my N8, now you're ruining it, totally... No more "keep N8-ing" for me. Someone else in the forum asked that would buying an N8 be a good decision. My advice, buy it with Symbian Anna, not Symbian^3, not Symbian Belle. You'll love it. Anyone in Bangladesh, I will love to trade of my Orange N8 with Belle with another Orange N8 with Anna. contact me here.

bought the phone 2 days ago, preloaded with Anna OS. pretty smooth experience( my previous phone Galaxy S Plus)upgraded to Belle a few hours ago. Belle OS is a much more polished UI... but no noticeable improvement in performance. i purchased this phone solely for the camera... and the camera is phenomenal. xenon flash is powerful...low light photos are great too!! battery life is average, day and a half or so on a single charge.
my recommendation, if u want a CAMERA with a phone buy this one. if youre looking for a phone with a great browser and loads of apps get android os or iOS... im pretty much bored of the functionality already :p

taking about a smart efficient os......symbian alone.....android and them other os's aint sheet!!....true multitasking on yet little ram """SYMBIAN WINS""" nokia i luv u.....aint going nowhere else.......plus n8 rocks.....da best
