Mine had about that same 120mb after the update; and I hav never seen my N8 being so fast in rendering any task thrown at it. Part of the problems posted by people here are chiefly caused by them. My apologies for any ill-feeling; I did not mean so. Kindly take your phone to a registered Nokia care center for checks.

I updated my n8 to belle. Updation was successful. But my phone memory was very low. It was nearly 120mb. Compared to leaked belle which i saw on N8fanclub.com was 250mb. Then i tried to format my N8 by *#7370# code. But only mass memory got format. And phn didnt reboot itself. I have to switch it on. Plz Help what to do.

So rare! Let us hope it will not take so much time. If your phone is still under warranty, they may give you a new one; but, most likely, it will be repaired atmost, changing the motherboard. I feel for you now you are missing the fun of Belle!!

[deleted post]If am to advise you, I would quickly tell you not to sell the new Nokia N8. Update it to Belle, and you would never get a better all-round reliable phone with lots of unparalled functionalities despite being 16months old in this fast-changing techno world. Permit me to ask you which other phone you use outside the general Nokia N8. Cheers!!!

AnonD-6614, 09 Feb 2012I updated my N8 via nokia suite and got only four screens instead of the six promised. after t... moreIf you hav only 4 home screens, you can add more by tapping on the option bar at the bottom right of the home screen and then clicking "add another home screeen". Hope my post will help you. Nokia is a GENIUS for squeezing all these functionalities of Belle into a phone with less than 300mb of RAM space!!!! Incredible!!!!!

HI Ray,
I just need your help.yesterday i updated my mobile to Belle and it was good and working fine.i hv installed Google map and fring as i was running smoothly before that ( ANNA).
when i open yhe application (GOOGLE MAP and FRING) its being opening, during opening process its automatically close after 2 seconds.
what should i do?
becoz i prefer Google map over nokia map.
anyone facing these type of problem and what is the remedies

U can add xtra homescreens in n8 belle by going in options on homescreen

hi ray,
i hv update to belle,,everyting is going well.
Now I tried to install google map, opera mobile,ucweb n got installed, but when I want to open the these applications its automatically closed after 2seconds, the icons are being show on screen...
Plz tell me what should to do. Anyone more who have this type of problem facing?
How to downgrade my phone to annn?
Becoz I love to use google map over nokia map.

Yestrday I have successfully downloaded belle on my n8 its working very good....bt I m facing some prblms....like I do not have continious autofocus in video mode, no resizeable widgets as promised by nokia that there will b 5 diff sizes .
:(
most of the app I have installed earlier have vanished but the mass memory (occupied with apps) is still as it is b4 with app .
I want to free up mass memory by doing a soft reset .
and m afraid if I do the reset I may loose belle frm my phone....
as I dont want to download it again n again ...

wow the new belle software for n8 is GREAT. web browser is much better than before. But some function missing from radio. I'm from bangladesh

I updated my N8 via nokia suite and got only four screens instead of the six promised. after the phone had restarted, there was a warning not to do anything except keing in my pin number and to ignore and not touch the screen while it was updating. all this happened on the instaling stage. I waited for almost 45mins and when there was no change, decided to take the risk and since it was asking me to confirm language setting, I cancelled and I got the phone working. only problem is the 4 screens and when you try to change a thene, it never stops proccessing until you stop it thru task manager. what could be the problem pliz heeeelp

I just need your help.Day before yesterday i updated my mobile to Belle and it was good and working fine for almost 4 hours. Suddenly it got switched off and when i tried to turn it on it wasn't.I took it to the Nokia care and they look at my mobile thy said it is dead and they have to send it to Head office to repair it and it will take 7-8 working days to get things done.
The mobile was taken only 2 weeks back so do you know how long will it take to repair and will they change my motherboard or any other accessories if they are not able to repair will they replace my mobile with a new one .
My product code is 0599255
And also i noticed that in the Nokia website the following information as the software update for Nokia 0599255 has been removed to correct SW .. is this information true ?..Please let me know

Hot as HADES with temperatures climbing as high as 46°C, but it's good! I saw you said something about snow on your side. I havent touched snow or felt it yet but I do get to see it during winter on the mountains surrounding my home town. But due to Global Warming we haven't really had winter in a few years now. Even the winter temps are in the higher 20's lately. How are things on your side?
Have you ever tried downloading torrents to your phone? I have but kept getting errors on files larger than 2gB. I guess this maybe because the phone tries saving to C: drive?
