nokia should upgrade its OS to ensure smooth operation of apps like the way android does.It is not easy to work on docs in PDF on all symbian even windows phones.

Nokia is the best Mobile phone manufacturer ever, followed my Motorola on second place. Next year when they will come back with phones again, samsung can say goodbye to its sales. I hope Nokia will adopt Jolla for further development, more money for developing Jolla, and make Jolla big.

Nokia will now make Android phones and be just another OEM and nothing else. Nokia was different but now it is the same as other Android phone manufacturers. Nokia phones used to stand out in the crowd from the first Nokia phone to the last true Nokia phone(Nokia 808). Wish Nokia would have developed Symbian Belle or MeeGo further to use in 2016 or maybe join the Sailfish OS bandwagon but all these remained a distant dream. My last Nokia phone was Nokia N8 which i sold due to its poor condition. Now getting some cheap Android phone soon.

Anonymous, 20 Apr 2015What happened to Fring for Symbian and is there any alternative for it? ThanksWhy? Did it stop working? I still have it on my phone but didn't try it.
As an alternative try Nimbuzz, although it doesn't have video calls. And it acts weird on my phone, like they forgot to include the proximity sensor settings so the screen stayed on while I tried to talk.

i have no idea y is it gettin switched off again and again it is restarting oly wen it is connected to the usb port .. please suggest me a solution

Got my Nokia N8 Bronze Colour fixed today after I screwed the touch IC and the display ribbon while opening it two weeks ago. Just had to change the display. It is my 2nd Nokia N8. Since it's not an original AMOLED display which is costly, the screen quality is just not as appealing as it was previously. Better I sell it and get another Nokia N8.
