Hi guys, I want to confirm that, when I make a call or a call is incoming my N8's screen automatically turns off. Total black.
I've to unlock phone first then I can see who is calling.
So anyone can please tell me is this normal, or any H/W problem it is??

i have a nokia n8, it has stopped browsing for a while n i have contact the network operator which informed me that my catrd is tested ok for internet configurations, pls what can i do? Also i tried using an 8GB memory card on my nokia n8 but, each time i do the phone keeps hanging. do u know y?

It's on there because I use Kik now and then on my Lumia 930. In case I'd switch to the N8 for a while, I have the app on that device as well ready to use.
Though I'm also gonna try the suggestions like appstop. If that works, it will be better to keep the Kik app on the N8.

I'm using AppStop every time I boot the phone to kill all the apps that I don't need (like Weather...). I also have an app called AutostartManager which should do the same thing automatically but I've been too lazy to set it up. :-) If you need any of them let me know and I'll upload them somewhere and post the link here (if moderators allow).
In other news now I'm using my N8 as a webcam for Skype on my PC via the SmartCam app and Bluetooth. It rules even in low light (big surprise considering the sensor size). :-)
