Just installed Belle 111.030.0609 per the link to You Tube on this board. Got tired of waiting and decided to go for it, take the risk. In less than 10 minutes I was running Belle! I backed up and restored all my settings and didn't lose a thing, contacts, web favorites..nothing! I even got an update for the search engine via Nokia Software Update. Store works great, web too. All my previously purchased apps were mostly there, a few I had to reinstall though not all. Belle is great, is fast, smooth, no hanging. I can't believe I waited this long. Thanks!

I had an n8 with belle and it was terrible in comparison to my HTC sensationI had samsung galaxy ace on gingerbread os, still do but I parked it up in favor of my n8. Battery life on android really sucks. Just my opinion......oh well, to each his own as we all have different tastes.

i have used Nokia N8, its good to use atfirst but later whenever i turn on the entire system hangs..
the only thing good about this phone is its camera, and if the N8 combined with Android then it wud rly be the ultimate smartphone..:D
i am currently using the HTC Vivid its wayy better than N8..

Avenger, 26 Jan 2012Nokia will really suffer a lot for what it had done to N8 by providing just a 680 MHz processor Nokia should have been less cheap with their phone parts. They bring out 'premium' phones with specs of a mid-range phone. N8 would have had more users and less problems like lag if they had done the right thing by putting a 1ghz cpu in it. N97 had similar and worse problems because they decided not to give it at least 600MHz cpu. Nokia single-handedly reduced their fan base which ironically was what they were relying on thinking their fans will always buy their phones no matter the unneccessary deficiencies.

For problems in video and photos:
1-Reset your phone,2-do not download many software on your mobile,3-Do not save many photos or vidoes on your mobile,4-chek for virus and hardware problem,5-Do not toch it with wet hands,6-Do not use it under humidity conditons (rainy weather),7-Avoid to use it under snow (make a cover for it)

Raj, 26 Jan 2012My n8 has pr1.2 not anna.so anyone tell me how i update it to anna.because i want to update to... moreIt a great phone, you have to install and update the software on your pc, then connect the phone to the pc, and it will automatically update it. After updating it, it will look like a lumia 800. One warning for using this phone,DON'T USE ANY OTHER CHARGER to charge this phone, or you will have to change the whole IMEI BOARD!!

Trust me, if you had android you'll sell it and keep N8 with Belle.
