dont connect to the wifi modem that are cheap, eg. Cdrking brand, they are cheap and not all devices that have wifi can connect, most are laptops only. There's some occasions but you have to try and try connect & disconnect until you can browse.

For the headphone issue what you need to do is make sure you push the connector in hard and quick all the way in. Many people have experienced the same problem, even me.
For the HDMI question, you will need to get a HDMI cable because the cable that came in the box is just an adapter to connect to the phones mini HDMI port.

I just bought N8 a week ago, here in Vietnam the product code is 0599256. I want to know if this product is genuine nokia N8 made in Korea. I was satisfied for everything, the only thing i wonder why is the headset. The sounds is bad, just like an ordinary cassette player not a dolby player. Do you think the headset i got was not good or i need to buy another headset? Second, why only a short HDMI cable included in the box, how can i connect it into tv. I need another extension cable from HDMI cable to tv. Is there available extension to any nokia store?

Advised to use 'proper words' to wake them up. I did once 1 year back when my N8 dead due to PCB issue. I believe regional NCC will push NCC brances to take the reported issue with immediate action seriously. I believe Nokia is taking care their customer, only irresponsible people who ruin their reputation.
how can i solve my Nokia N8 problem? i connect to the internet and after sometime my phone is off and still now i can not on my phone.

Hey guys.. hi to all N8 users, specially to Ray who is so kind to help other people,. My concern now is might be they same with others...you know guys im so happy and satisfied as a user of n8 before, but i was so disappointed with some nokia care here in the Phil. eversince i am truly nokia fanatic. my n8 was just around 2 months old, then suddenly some defect in my LCD, so i ask them to clean it and then later they gave me my n8 but with very unpleasant purple color.. i bet their technicians are betraying our trust to them, what they are showing? do they want us to change our handset instead.
to Ray... plz help me. last time I went to Nokia Care to consult something and then they told me to clean the LCD, so they did that but they gave my n8 with purple instead, I return it to them.. until now im waiting for their txt, now Im quite comfused, are our mobiles is in good hands with them, or some of their men are destroying our trust to nokia care. u know im glad say that using n8 is a chance of a lifetime as im still living, but plz dont ttry steal it from me. pls pls pls pls.
