To answer some if your points.
1 This is a hardware issue since the N8's launch.
3 Red eye is caused by the Xenon flash being too close to the camera lens. No amount of firmware updates will improve the night video issue because the phone doesn't have a video light.
5 The CPU is fixed at 680 MHz and I doubt it will ever be overclocked. In fact, the processor isn't the main culprit causing the phone to slow down. It's the low amount of system RAM which is only 256 MB.

Enough is enough,we are eagerly waiting for Symbian belle updates (in Nokia N8) but Nokia takes too much time to update in their cellphones,they are focusing to announce the new products & not focusing to improve new features.Symbian Anna have many problems such has:-
1.When insert headphone in N8 headphone keys not working instantly,it takes 2 or 3 times insertion to proper working.
2.Full/Partial Contacts many times not shown properly.
3.Camera takes too much time to operate,in night images have red eye problem.In night, video can not make till now after several updates
4.Browser is not functioning properly
5.Processor is not enough, many times system become very slow

YES... Nokia4Ever.... My Nokia Journey 3530, 6600 (My Fav), 6680(Few Days), 3250 (Few Days, N91 (one of my Fav) and now Nokia N82 (My ever loving and bestest mobile)... There are so many models came to market.. but still no any other model or brand didnt fill my needs... Nokia N8 only filled and filling my needs. Whatever ppl say i will go for N8 only :) if ppl dont like nokia let them buy whatever they like, and let nokia fans to use the nokia mobiles and let us stay happy... :) Nokia Fans wont get confuse by others... bcz we are looking for MOBILE... not a all technology into small gadget. N8 is ALL-In-One Gadget... :) Hats off too Nokians :)

If you think that IOS (apple iphone) is far off better than Symbian, WP7, android... moreyou research a little also please? Go and ask ppl if they want to pay 150% more for an iPhone than a similar specced Android fone? Ofcors price is an issue for 95% of smartphone buyers, iPhone 4S is insanely expensive.
I have two high end android fones and both have the same problems despite being different brands. Android is not good, but popular coz of its ecosystem, an ecosystem Symbian and WP doesnt have, an ecosystem only matched by iPhone.
Please read my post before you reply next time, u dont understand what i am saying. I wouldnt buy an iphone myself but i dont attack ppl who understand WHY iphone is so popular as it is. if you follow your own advice and do some research then you will also understand why iphone is the single most sold cellfone in the world despite the insane price.

I always love Nokia :) and im Crazy about N8... im ... moreu're one of the wise.....nokia n8 to my experience is by far da best in terms of usability and features.....and i bought my n8 september this year.....and never found that purple tint issue......so join the crew.....n8 to the world!!!!Symbian is the best.........no other......plus official belle is already out through navifirm

ive been using n8 for about a year now and so far im really satisfied and impressed with it, not only with the camera but with its overall package. from the unique hardware design to the true multi tasking. apps was never a problem for me because almost all necessary apps are available for symbian you can even download HD games for free (n8fanclub.com). i only have 6gb left in my memory but still theres no lag in any apps except if i open more than 10 apps all at once. 16 gb is enough for me. if your looking for the best cameraphone then N8 is your only choice and im not talking about just the MP but its camera sensors, tuning, algorithms etc. are the best you can get. and if there would be a n8 successor i would definitely go for it without any hesitation
