ajay, 18 Oct 2011for camera ? just buy Kodak From 50$ to USD 100 between 12-14 mp I beg to disagree. Carrying a mobile and a phone separately impairs mobility. The reason why camphones exist is to solve this. Besides, N8's price is estimated to drop: http://writerjj.hubpages.com/hub/Nokia-N8-review-not-so-cheap-anymore
i've been using n8 for 6 months and it's the best i've experienced till now :)
Anonymous, 18 Oct 2011I dont think symbian had bad user experience. The interface is friendly and quite efficient. T... morei can agree with this. symbian has been around for way too long in terms of software years.
When the N8 finally gets the official Belle update, people will forget all about nokia's windowsPhone devices. The N8 will be all they will need for a few more years.
people lets be real...........no other smartphone to date can par with the nokia n8..........its da best.....everything about it......specs + design + performance.........n8 rocks......and i luv dat phrase..............so ppl keep n8ing
Why are people posting stuff about Samsung here? ughh ,don't hate appreciate!
True definition of smartphone to date = Nokia N8

while typing SMS, how can i attach a contact and send to the recipient. Not Biz card pls
Just by checking the specs on this phone I am totally mindblown by its abilities. The latest and best versions of bluetooth, symbian, and even class 33 edge and gprs! I NEED ONE!!!!!
I dont think symbian had bad user experience. The interface is friendly and quite efficient. The problem is its been there for many years, people got bored looking/using it. Then they translate this boredom into bad user experience of symbian os.
Any application that I can download to check Singapore bus arriving timing?

Depending on which region you're in the warranty period for the battery is between six months (Europe), 12 months (Australia), 12 months (Middle East and Africa) 12 months (USA).
So, if you're in a region other than Europe Nokia should be repairing your phone under warranty.
There is a last resort method to try and revive the N8 and is known as the "three fingered suicide or reset".
It is not recommended to use the "three finger" reset (pressing volume down + camera key + menu key and pressing power button) to hard reset your N8. Doing this will delete some applications (Ovi Store, Ovi Maps, some preinstalled widgets) which might not be able to be restored. If the device cannot be properly restored, take it to a Nokia Care point for reflashing to get the original applications back in the device.
Also be aware that all personal data will be wiped from the phone as well.
All the best.
dezider, 18 Oct 2011hi ray..what is new in this update? i can´t see diff@dezider.
If it's a proper Anna release you should have new icons, Home screen transitions and the addition of some new applications such as Microsoft Communicator. That's about it really, nothing special. As I've said before (but people refuse to accept it) the Symbian platform has had it's day and Nokia have made people wait for months on end for this update but it turns out to be nothing special.
All the best.
My N8 refuses to charge ad the battery is completely down. I tried using the USB cord to charge too all is futile. Please what can i do? I love my N8 and not ready to let go. This is just the 8th month of the phone. I sent the phone to NOKIA shop and yet they could not handle it.
