i get a n8 phone from my friend who live in spain.so my phone user guide is spanish language.i want a english user guide.....email@example.com
Anybudy plz sugest....
shall i go for SE ARC S/SII/N8?
plz plz sugest on own experience.
symbian is boring, and 680mhz processor is not speedy, occasionally it lags.
the reason i'm using n8 is because the features are very practical in daily life;
-camera: take picture of my growing baby
-excellent basic features;call,sms,battery life
-HDMI/tv-out:watch photo,video,movie on tv
-fm transmitter: use in car everyday
-USBOTG:edit&transfer office file urgently, watch video from usb drive, combine with fm transmitter ultimately become in-car entertainment device.
-gps:a good one,and free.
-tough built:eradicate the urge to handle it delicately,so can put it anywhere.already dropped on cement floor few times with no problems.
..and many other stuff i wont mention anymore.
at the moment no other phone have all these function in one package.
i have tried using galaxy s plus.surely a refreshed UI, but the only thing it is good at is to play around with apps and games, and surf the net with the big screen.
so i'm back using n8, aka keep n8ing..
i m using it from 1year,it is the best smartphn of nokia, but when i buyed it there was lots of free full big games but now only demo is given.why?
it's a perfect cellphone!!!!it may not have all the upgraded specs of other phones but its function is much better than most other phones. should it have the photo editor as that of N5800 then it would be perfectly perfect!!!!
it was very advanced option in this mobile, i am used 9 months this mobile, it was so sensitive in there any case
I've been using it for almost a year now (bought it on 31st of december). It's very good, at first had some issues with the software, took a couple of seconds after ending the call, till the screen cleared, was solved with update. Camera is very good no matter the conditions, but the software is getting old from my point of view. It's a shame to waste a very good camera like this one on that software. I've had Nokia almost since forever, it's easy to use, no matter the phone the software is basically the same. All in all it's a good choice, but I think I'm going to go with the flow and get myself an Android smartphone also.
I would NOT recommend this phone to anyone after my experience.
After only 2 weeks, since i purchased my first N8,i am going to return the second phone that just died on me.
I have allways owned a Nokia phone, but now i am going to look for something else.
i get n8 in used, and i dnt knw what is the security code. And i want to make my cell secure but i dnt knw that what is code , plz help me . Thx IN ADVANCE.
The Nokia N8 is possibly the best phone I have ever owned, barring the odd hanging here and there, but brilliant.
The best thing in my opinion this phone boasts is the camera 12mp Carl Zeiss allows you to shoot HD video, as well as capture brilliant photos.
if I may see some of my clips taken with this phone on WordPress, rowdypat.wordpress.com
by the way, after updating the software to Symbian Anna, the phone performance get much better
I'm using N8 for 11 months, it's the best ever phone, with 32G micro SD, and flash memory of 32G, fast GPS, fast WLAN, the only disadvantage is the bad projection of the rmvb video files
fred, 19 Oct 2011hi Mr.Ray i saw anna update on my phone but i cannot update it. i oppen ovi but it not there.... moreHello Fred.
This usually happens when Nokia's servers are busy. The only thing you can do is to keep checking daily. Bear in mind that Ovi suite will only let you check for updates once per day.
hi Mr.Ray i saw anna update on my phone but i cannot update it. i oppen ovi but it not there. pls hw can i update my phone toanna. i need help.
Dear All, I would really appreciate if any of u can help me. I am having problem of signing into my Ovi Store page it keeps loading like forever. Any of u guys have same problems. Plus, occasionally it restart by itself.Pls help. Thanks
ajay, 18 Oct 2011for camera ? just buy Kodak From 50$ to USD 100 between 12-14 mp I beg to disagree. Carrying a mobile and a phone separately impairs mobility. The reason why camphones exist is to solve this. Besides, N8's price is estimated to drop: http://writerjj.hubpages.com/hub/Nokia-N8-review-not-so-cheap-anymore
i've been using n8 for 6 months and it's the best i've experienced till now :)
