i love all the function of this phone. but i have 1 doubt, is there anyone who can clear it.
i want to know can we do video chat through yahoo messenger and skype through GPRS.

P.S.- Install Opera 10.1 (internet browser) and your N8 is gonna be faster than your iPhone, believe me!

I had many smartphones before, based on different OS, but N8 is definitely a good phone. I dropped it accidentally a couple of times, and what happened - nothing, that's what happened! Camera is simply superb but there's a catch: you'll have to dig deep into settings to make it work the way you want. If you buy it now it'll come with Symbian Anna which really improved OS and hardware performance.
All in all, you won't regret it! Cheers, mate!

... moreSkype application for mobiles has no support for video calls. You can have a simple audio call, that's it!
I don't use yahoo messenger so I can't tell.

I like ur signature comment 'keep N8-ing'..and i've started using it.. For ur kind information dear, i've once installed Belle and then i reverted back to Anna.. But i was unable to manage using it after using Belle.. So i reinstalled Belle which is buttery smooth.. There will be no problem installing the official Belle when it is released.. I advice u also to install the Belle on ur N8.. U will love ur device even more.. Cheers dude..

AnonD-4801, 02 Oct 2011You are a liar..n8 is not at all laggy...it takes 1-2 secs to load gsmarena's page on my n8..... moreFirstly, I'm not a liar. Why would i lie? Did i not say in the beginning of my post that the phone is good? I was also merely stating the downfalls of it. The N8 at times of web browsing does lag. I can make a video of me using it to prove it to you, even though YouTube has plenty of other users demonstrating this.

It asks for a page, at the opera whatever that finds it, sends it loaded to your phone, and it doesn' have to reload when you go forth and back,the pages stay there in your phone, and when you want to watch a video, it just opens nokia' browser which since it does only that, plays it really well. Really quick and easy. take care

I don't know why some of the trolls keep on screaming about not being able to watch youtube videos in the browser. I myself did that and I can guaranty that it works smooth. And if you want the other way around, then go to www.google.com/mobile/youtube & download the youtube viewer. Believe me, after watching through it, you'll never want to watch through your browser anymore. I actually love it. It is fast in searching, loads amazingly fast & runs the video smooth. So, stop screaming about bumpy roads when you have other smooth roads open in front of you. Now, most of Samsung users will start screaming about using third party software, saying they don't use any. But hey, the OS (Android) itself is a third party software (Samsung didn't make it, and learn the definition of third party software somewhere before you put any objection). All the softwares installed in Samsung, most of them are third party software, except for a few, like UI itself. So, if you don't like my truths, just leave the page and let us be happy without you.

I had this dream of all the N8 users use this line after every comment they put anywhere. Second, why did you install hacked Belle? It will stop you from installing real Belle & Anna. I wanted to install, but then I read this blog where some of N8 users installed it, then they couldn't go back to Symbian^3 or Anna (PR1.1/PR1.2/PR2.0). So best of luck with hacked one. I'm waiting for the real Belle update. Take care.
