I have been using my N8 since March. And it's defiantly a good phone. BUT, it would've been even tonnes better if was operated by Android and had at least 500MB of RAM. Web browsing on it is a HUGE pain, even with Anna on installed it just doesn't have enough juice under the skin. Websites such as GSMarena takes ages to load compared to my iPhone 4 and when it's done loading pages it's the scrolling that kills me; LAGGY as hell. Occasionally, the phone completely gives up and shuts the browser down. Wacting videos on Youtube is a complete shambles and is the result of its tiny processor; seeking videos back and forth is virtually impossible.
There are a few things to counter these cons: HDMI output, USB-on-the-go and an awesome camera. But to be honest, these are only multimedia features and things like OS and processors are supposed to be top priority.
If i were to give my N8 a facelift, I would've let it be operated by Android and had at least 500MB of RAM and a full 1GHz as the CPU.

today n.care people changed my n8's screen ! Itz better than b4 but purple tint is still there in small quantity !

N8 is a good phone and so far satisfied however it sweeps through my data bundle like a dog locked away with 90kgs of meat. How can i control when to download or internet content retrieval?

N8 is my beautiful dream,i wish buy this decent piece of art but i use N8 of my cousin and it is superb,it is that diamond which changes the man,s look @what a nice mobile is this!when i buy my own N8 then i will 1st tell on this website

Anyone know when this camera update is coming which brings fixed auto focus or am I missing something?
Also where can you flash the Belle update from. as I am sick of waiting for Nokia updates!

Go to Settings,Phone,Accessories, and make sure Headset is set as default, that way you can use buttons for controls, once that's set, plug out and plug in and you should be good to go,some say a little harder, i just unplug and plug in same force.

As like my Cartier watch, my Nokia N8 is also a fine piece of Electronics. Next best thing to a Vertu. I love and appreciate my mobile phone. Why hate on the N8? Leave us alone.

It is the only phone with 12 MP Camera and Zenon Flash.
N9 - 8 mp with LED Flash
N9 - Memory card slot missing
Nokia people have only increased its speed and RAM and has missed out the important camera.
