just bought it today...and im having purple tint prb...but only while playing video and only in dark area..how can i fix the prb?

I never had a purple tint problem on my N8 until I updated to the ANNA what do I do to get rid of it?Any suggestions please.

By gl0be, 26 Sep 2011At first i was amazed ab0ut having this ph0ne fr0m n0kia,i just g0t this ph0ne fr0m gl0be with... moremy advice is update your phone to symbian anna. if already done that, then most likely something is wrong with your phone. maybe because of something you installed, or it really is a faulty unit.

I've been using n8 for almost 1 year from when it was launched. Guest what I have 2 sets indeed right now. Don't worry about photography and video filming. It will really amaze you. I always travel to nature wonder places and i make collection of photos as suvenir. I always go to cameron highland and never missed to snap at least 50 shots or more... Previously i use my SLR, but with n8 i just keep it. It's not to say that N8 is so much better than SLR, but the quality is really good than normal digicam and some more i just bring 1 device with complete package and fit in the pocket too.
Internet connection is very satisfying. You can stick to 3g mode or EDGE mode in wich way your want. And it is constantly connected. With wifi some more better. Using streamyx at home will be enjoying. I remember last time gsmarena had published about connectivity comparison for wifi connectivity and the result was N8 perform better especially for N protocol.
I can send to you some raw sample of amazing nature photo taken by my almost 1 year N8. Just send me your email. It may help you on your decison. If you concern about camera feature on your mobile.... Like i do.

I didnt submit my n8 which has purple tint bcoz I thought anna update will solve it but only the purple tint on the analogue clock is gone ! Tint is still there everywhere in black/dark background ! I ll submit it and i hope to get a defect free screen ! My friends submitted his n8 bcoz of tint but n.care gave me faulty screen everytime ! Hope it wont happen with me :)

ujwal, 25 Sep 2011guyz i need sum help today i was cleanin ma n8 screen wid a cloth n i observd srveral scratche... morecontact nokia as the screen will be covered under manufacturers warranty (check your handset information handbook for warranty period 1st, although it should be 2 yrs)
